Eco-activists attacked a Monet painting with red paint yesterday in Stockholm. The painting is unharmed and the activists were arrested, the Nationalmuseum says.

The work—Le Hardin de l’artiste Ă  Giverny (1900)—was on loan from the MusĂ©e d’Orsay. The two museums are in dialogue about reinstalling the work in the Stockholm exhibition.
