The Immunology/Transplantation PRN promotes quality research, clinical practice, innovation, and education in the areas of immunology, and solid organ transplantation. The PRN represents a diverse group of professionals who share the common goal of improving patient outcomes as a result of the efforts in their field. The PRN is dedicated to achieving this goal by promoting information exchange in a cooperative, supportive atmosphere.

The results of the EVOLVD trial are out! Evolocumab therapy in addition to standard therapy with a statin did not mitigate the increase in coronary intimal thickness despite a substantial reduction in LDL cholesterol. A larger population with a longer follow-up duration may be needed to further elucidate PCSK9i therapy in heart transplant recipients.
