It’s SALE day!! 4:30pm PST
I’ve been working on some fun earrings as time permits. Finally enjoying some quiet creative time as everyone is back into a schedule. Thinking Sunday sale?? What works best for all of you?
Drum roll please…. Oli is releasing a special bracelet! He calls it the confetti bracelet. Why? His saying is “ We should all throw kindness like confetti!!” The BEST part about this bracelet is 50% of the proceeds will be donated to . This rescue does amazing things for furry friends!! Our baby Gunner was saved by this organization and we had the greatest experience with adoption!! Mom note, I love that my kiddos heart is so BIG and generous!! He came up with all of this. Bracelets are $5 and we are happy to mail! They are each a random pick of color so no two are alike.
He’s already in his office and I’m headed to mine. Only a couple more days and then he starts 4th grade! OMG! He is the cutest and wants to come up with a business name. Suggestions?? He also has a new product in the works that is SO colorful and the name for it is awesome!! Hopefully I’ll get to share those later today. First up, custom orders.
Feeling like I should have a pumpkin spice latte in my hands as I create today. Fall is in the sewing room, definitely not the air here. Tee Hee!! Thinking these kimonos might need to be scarves as well.
Look how cool these are!! Little man’s been a busy bee 🐝
Enjoying the morning with my little entrepreneur. We are making beads! He’s been making all sorts of cool things with perlers and bracelets are today’s crafting. Saints colors for the first football game tonight. Photo of bracelets he had made for 4th of July/ U of A a couple months ago. They are pretty cool.
He might just be taking orders, just sayin 😉
I just love the detail on these ornaments. I fussy cut each one for the perfect image. These beauties are headed to the Japanese Friendship Garden in the morning.
My question for you as I am creating- what do you want to see? I’ve had request for boatflag blankets, dish towels and button scarves.
Oh my gosh it has been way too long!! I apologize I have been so quiet. So much has happened… hubby gone, injured shoulder ( how?? No clue), hubby home and grandmother passed, started PT for shoulder, sports, sports, sports, room swaps, kid home from college and off to Australia to play rugby, hernia surgery, kid off to play Rugby in Portugal and Spain, and all the summer activities in the mix. I am finally feeling like me and SO looking forward to a school schedule as everyone goes back within the next week.
I am loving getting back into being creative. Working on a restock for the Japanese Friendship Garden and then on fall items. Will have a handful of pumpkins and leaves and maybe even some pennant garland. Do we need some fall earrings in the mix? Hope you are all well and can’t wait to start sharing more….
Wishing you all the Happiest Mothers Day!! This sticker sums it up pretty well.
These beauties are in the works for an restock. All made from scraps of vintage and antique Japanese silk kimonos. I might just have to hold back a couple pairs…tee hee
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…. Christmas Ornaments are in the works and I tried something new…a very old Obi. That sparkle!!
Ok, one more.. look at that stitching detail!!
Happy Monday!! How are we just over a week to Thanksgiving?? This morning I’m working on tagging Haori. The haori (羽織) is a traditional Japanese hip- or thigh-length jacket worn over a kimono. There’s something about the beauty in each being so different. Here are a few favorites…
