Keys to effective SOI(Statement of Intent)/SOP(Statement of Purpose).
SOI/SOP is an essay a student applying for a graduate program at a foreign university is required to write in order to be admitted to the program. It’s possibly the best way to express your goals and achievements impressively to the admission officers and faculty members of the discipline. Here are some key factors:
1.Draw a clear line through your past,present,and future! That means your past education(post secondary),present job/researches/study,and future education and career goals should be as aligned as possible.
2. Write about the features of the target program at the University you are applying for, which should be in line with ur past, present,and future intents. Features include the syllabus, courses, programme plan, research options, professors' profiles,etc.

3.Never write the same letter for all universities . Customize as per the university/ programme you are applying. So, going through the target university programme website meticulously is a must.
4. Never follow any model / sample / format. Be fully yourself. Best is not to look at any sample.
