Who are we, and what are we doing here on this little blue marble, spinning boldly and precariously though the blackness of space? As a species and as individuals, we're still trying to figure it out-- who we are, where we came from, and where we're going. There seem to be two ways to search for the answers: from the outside, and from the inside. Blue Planet Journal-- www.blueplanetjounal.com-- is
a web journal with a little of both. On the outside side, you will find travel articles with windows to wonders around the world, and thorough scientific articles on current issues and events in the field of ecology. Topics range from the future of solar energy, photovoltaics and bio-fuels to organic farming; from India's population paradox to the endangered flora and fauna of Tibet; from the problems of overpopulation, water shortage, and desertification to their possible solutions. One the inside side, there are also articles on the subjects of love, meditation, laughter and the delicate footpaths that run between them. Read brand-new original jokes and the zany, zenny comedy of the age-old stories of Mulla Nasruddin, and walk with the mystics and lovers of our world. We welcome writers who can contribute in all categories; we will even create a new category especially for you if you send us something beautiful.
