We support Healing Touch International students and practitioners and promote & educate the public ab Indiana community of Healing Beyond Borders.
Our community consists of Instructors, Certified Practitioners (CHTPs), Students, and any others interested in learning more about Healing Touch and subtle energy work for health and wellness. Healing Touch International, Inc., now doing business as Healing Beyond Borders, Educating and Certifying the Healing Touch®, was established in 1996 by Janet Mentgen and the founding Board of Directors to p
rovide service through certification, education, international standards, code of ethics, research and integrative health care consultation and resources in Healing Touch. As a non-profit professional organization, Healing Beyond Borders has a different responsibility to the public than a for-profit. Our charge is service, and all proceeds are put back into the organization for continued growth and world service. OUR PURPOSE:
Healing Touch International, dba Healing Beyond Borders, Educating and Certifying the Healing Touch®, was incorporated as a non-profit professional membership organization in March, 1996 to:
- Provide continuing education for nurses, health care professionals and others in the energy based therapy of Healing Touch
- Promote research of Healing Touch
Provide certification of Practitioners and Instructors in Healing Touch
- Provide community education of energy based therapies

Our mission is to spread healing and light worldwide through the heart-centered practice and teaching of Healing Touch. It is fulfilled by this non-profit membership and educational organization which:
- Administers the Certification process for Healing Touch Practitioners and Instructors
- Sets international standards of practice and international code of ethics for practitioners and instructors
- Supports Healing Touch Practitioners and Instructors as they develop, practice and serve communities world wide
- Promotes and provides resources in health care integration and research in Healing Touch
