Van Speech and Debate
This is the official FB Page of the Van High School Speech and Debate Team.
Some days we debate…and some days we dance! 🐬🐬🐬
Home at last! And while we had a great time at the NSDA annual convention in The Bluegrass State, we are oh so glad to be back in The Lone Star State!
Next year’s convention —The Grand Canyon State. Stay tuned!
Want to mention this young lady (who wouldn’t let me zoom in lol). She was a National Qualifier for NSDA and represented VHS proudly.
Great way to officially end your senior year, Cara Potter!
Day 2 is in the books! Drove by the Downs; but only after we walked from Kentucky to Indiana over the Ohio River. Got in our miles today for sure!
First leg of our NSDA trip. Memphis! Great barbecue and great sunsets!
We also tied for 1st Place as a Speech Team!
Congratulations to Cara Potter for placing 4th in Informative Speaking and being an Alternate for UIL State! She also placed 6th overall in Lincoln-Douglas Debate.
