Another week in UK lockdown, but there is a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel as some European start to lessen the reigns on the restrictions.
Reach for that light with a !

Sunday Stretch! pose is a great leg and thigh stretcher and can be both a great restorative pose as well as a good warm down pose from a sweaty power class.

You can even do it from the comfort of your bed in the morning 😉

When you run out of puff in your wheel pose and need to take a break 🥵
Happy Friday! Make sure you take some time to enjoy your Friday night 🕺🏼

It’s the start of another week in lockdown. 4.5 billion of us are now in the same position.
I would be lying if I said that this hasn’t been a challenge. Motivation being one of the biggest. 😔
I now allow myself to be unmotivated rather than try to fight it, and although this means there are days that I get very little done, it does mean other days are super productive. I guess what Iv learned is be kind to yourself. ❤️ these are strange times which may mean you have strange changes to your usual ways 🤷🏼♂️

Happy humpday! Today feels like a big hump of a day for me... so if you are feeling the same way then maybe change you surroundings (as much as you are able) even if it means spending a little time in a different room.
•
•
Top tip: Try rearranging a room to give it a different look. 👍🏼
•

•
Making shapes in the mist! Yoga can also be handy for signposting to other tourists. “Which way to the waterfall, you ask? Why it’s over that way, you can’t miss it”
Happy Good Friday! 🐣 These days are all very similar! So try and do one thing that is different from the next. Sip a cocktail in for example! 🍹

Happy humpday! 🐪 in this variation I usually ask people to imagine they are holding a big beach ball between your hands.... you would’ve thought that I could’ve actually held a beach ball in this pic as I’m on an actual beach 🤣🤦🏼♂️
•
•
Top tip: Sink your feet deep into the sand to hold steady! If no sand then I can suggest finding some, soil also works 🤣
•
•
•
A Monday Motivation! We are one week into lockdown in the UK. To try and normalise life a bit, try setting some plans for your week. 🗒
•
Perhaps assign different rooms in your home to specific things, such as making your bedroom only for sleep 🛌
•
Decide on a recipe and make it for dinner... let’s be honest, you probably have the time to make it from scratch 🍴

Day 3 of self isolation. For many of us it’s more than that. So I’m bringing my mind back to on the beach. Little variation of open legs.
•
•
Top tip: Practicing inversions on the beach is great as there is plenty of space, and if you fall... the sand is soft. So when we can all travel again, add it to your list of activities 🏝

A Monday Motivation! Today I’m doing a post for mental health awareness through and it’s super important in the current pandemic to keep your mental health in check 🧠
•
Social-distancing and isolation can be terms that terrify those that struggle with mental health more than that of the virus itself. Therefore it is important while doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19 we keep in touch with each other in other forms 🤳🏼
•
Call your friends, FaceTime your relatives and stay connected in whatever way you can. Join things online and be part of something live and virtual. ☎️
•
Many of my friends and colleagues will be hosting free online classes, myself included as a way to stay connected at this time. Put aside some time to join in. 🧘🏼♂️

Happy Humpday🐫! With a happy little
In current climates and with Coronavirus hitting the news, it’s good to stay clean, stay positive and stay healthy where you can.
•
•
Top tip: This balance pose doesn’t require to have the foot on the inside of the thigh, it can be on the calf if it is easier. The aim is to work on balance, not to get your foot as high as possible.
