Yesterday was Otsukimi (お月見🎑) , the celebration of Otsukimi or moon viewing in Japan. The weather was cloudy so we couldn't see full moon very much but we enjoyed decorationg susuki (pampas grass) with rice dumplings called tsukimi-dango.

It’s so hot here in Japan. I tried Espresso Tonic for the first time. It tastes like non-alcoholic dark beer. I’ll never make it again😅

It's been a very long time since I've had "roasted" coffee, and It's also my first time to try this Blue Bottle Coffee. It was good, fresh enough.
But I realized again that home roasted coffee is completely different from commercially roasted coffee.
I can't buy roasted coffee beans anymore!
In Japan, earthenware pots have been used to roast green tea for centuries.
They roast the tea leaves lightly just before brewing.
Tea leaves are very light and burn easily but the gentle heat conduction of the earthenware pot makes this possible and maximizes the aroma of the green tea.
