Thank you, Kelly Yandell, for finding this cookbook. We tried the Crunchy Peanut Salad tonight. It’s super yummy and filling! The recipes in this book are so easy to follow. We subbed in coconut aminos for the soy sauce and left out the maple syrup altogether to make it even healthier. YUM.

This larger-than-life guy makes me smile! And rumor has it that we’ll be getting some Frizzle chicks this Friday to keep him company 😃 (I’m so excited, thank you for telling me about them, Tammy Thompson Gildea!).

Our backyard is changing. Now that all of the trees inside the fence have either fallen or been taken down due to disease, we are extremely grateful for this gorgeous umbrella + stand from our friends . It’s SO hot out here in the middle of the day! I love that we can tilt it to maximize the shade, too. 😍

Just a girl and her HART Tools chainsaw. I love this thing! 😍 We lost our homeowners insurance like many others, and were given very little notice. Car insurance is gone, too. Thank you, Farmers.😡We’re in a two-week dash to clean up more of this winter’s damage (massive oak trees, broken fence), clean the roof & gutters, make the leaves disappear, all the things. Not sure if we’ll make it in time, but we are trying! And… this is why we don’t need to go to the gym. 😁

A few weekends ago, I hung this light in our breakfast room ALL BY MYSELF! Yep, I’m pretty proud of ME! 😁 what do you think? It comes from my friends , a small business that makes the most unique light fixtures you’ve ever seen (right here in the USA). They’ve been featured in for their unique designs, and I chose this modern industrial ceiling light that is the perfect size for our breakfast nook. I love its little pull chain, which gives it a true vintage feel. If you haven’t already checked out , they’ve got so many different designs and something for every spot in your home. PS- if you look close, you will see that we are still in the process of cleaning up our giant oak tree that fell in the storm😟
