Ian Davies / Wyn (Cribyn) Thomas, Holden Captiva.
Finishing 2nd O/A in the Challenge was a great result for Ian & Wyn who were competing in the Challenge Regularity for the first time and after getting to grips with the regularity timing posted several top times and they got better as the event progressed, they normally compete in the rally competition on other events and Ian stated he will do the rally competition on the next event if there is another version as they had enjoyed their experience on this one.

Congratulations to Paul & Sandra Merryweather, Toyota Landcruiser Winners of the Australian section in the Challenge Regularity.
Paul & Sandra dropped just 01.48 on this section showing their experience and expertise in the regularity format over stages that were difficult to navigate and which posed problems for several crews, they even helped to tow some cars out from being bogged down so well done to them and thanks for helping others along the way.
Had they been doing the full event they would have certainly been challenging Eric & Rene for the overall honors, next time maybe!

Congratulations to Eric Claeys / Rene Declercq, Toyota Hilux Winners of the Challenge Regularity Section.
Amazingly they dropped just 2.04 on each half of the event with a winning time of 4.08 at the end of the event.
This was one of the more popular vehicles as it had a fully stocked drinks cooler box fitted in the rear, cheers Eric and Rene for their great hospitality to others on the event.
