I've been fortunate to have participated in all but one Mosaic Christmas anthology. Made up of short stories, they're really a perfect book for the holidays as you can easily read a single story in a sitting.

Mosaic is unique in that our anthologies don't center around romance or royalty. Yes, you'll find some romance, but you'll also find literary fiction, women's fiction, family drama, humor, suspense. Each book is a wonderfully eclectic collection of stories, yet each centers around a common theme. Yes, I'm biased, but we have a very gifted team of authors.

This book... Wow! For a story that's set in 1930's Hollywood, it's very relevant for today. Code Name Edelweiss is based on a true story about Jewish lawyer, Leon Lewis, who employs a handful of amateur spies to uncover and foil Hitler's plans to take over Hollywood.

The story deals with prejudice and hate. It's about standing up for what's right even when doing so will hurt you or even put yourself and loved ones in danger.

As I took a break from reading, and was watching the news, a chilling headline popped up: Anti-Israel Protests Erupt Across the World. It's as if we've learned nothing. It's heartbreaking.

It's also a reminder to be diligent in prayer, to stand up and speak out for what's right.

Thank you, Stephanie Landsem , for penning this engaging, thought-provoking novel that encourages us to open our eyes and to not be mere spectators in this world or hate will take over.

I took a small break from my writing sabbatical and penned a short story for the upcoming Mosaic Christmas anthology, A THRILL IN THE AIR. For those of you who read Pieces of Granite, you'll recognize Lee and Amelia, the main characters in my story, The Home for Christmas Challenge.

THE END! Two of the sweetest words to any author.

It's been over two years since I last typed those words, having gone on a sabbatical from writing to spend more time with my husband. Now, as this is a short story for the upcoming Mosaic Collection Christmas anthology, it was just a brief break from sabbatical, but still it felt good to pen words, to revisit old characters and introduce new ones, to start on a blank page and to fill those pages with words that create a story. And I could write without sacrificing much time with my husband. That was the key.

While you probably won't see a full-length novel from me within the next year, I'm looking forward to penning short stories for the 2024 Mosaic anthologies.

World Alzheimer's Day is a global effort to raise awareness and challenge the stigma around Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. More than 55 million people across the world are affected by this terrible disease, and that number doesn't include the families, friends, and loved ones who daily care for those with Alzheimer's.

Everyone can make a difference, whether through a fundraiser (see the comments section for our Walk to End Alzheimer's info), sharing info about Alzheimer's, or even better yet, spend time with those who have the disease--and don't wait until tomorrow, because it's not promised us.

Exciting news from The Mosaic Collection!

The Mosaic Collection is now an official publisher! Because of the success of this group, we felt we were ready to take the next step in this business: we've formed an LLC and are officially, The Mosaic Collection, LLC.

You won't see a lot of changes. We've spiffed up our logo a bit. The anthologies will become more regular. The books released under this imprint will still be independent. Our participating authors are specifically chosen for their high quality storytelling.

It does not mean we'll be taking submissions. We're a different type of publisher, evolving from the traditional.

Our first release as a publisher will be announced soon. We're just waiting on final updates to the book cover before sharing it with the world.
