It’s February 1st y’all! And I’m waking up super pumped because I’m on my way to close out Q1 strong! Why??? My heart is broken and I am so sad I didn’t get to make it into the schools this last week before the holidays and have my students present their final business pitches to everyone 😞 due to stupid COVID, I’m literally torn 😩 these students put in tons of work for the past 8 weeks into their businesses and I am so proud of them for engaging, learning and thinking outside the box and above and beyond ☺️ they truly put a smile on my face each week!

Some of the business ideas were:
🔺A publishing company by a student whom first wants to go to the army so he can then write a book about his experience and sell his stock at an affordable price so many afford it
🔺 A shelter by a student who wants to make sure those who have less in his community have food and shelter daily
🔺 A new innovative school system by a student who enjoys schools but who feels that our current school system is outdated and needs improvement
🔺 Undergarment sports gear by a student who wants to make sure the clothing used while playing sports enhancing productivity
🔺 A body soap line, A jewelry line, A hair product line, Clothing company & so much more!

I am just so in awe and proud of them!

I will miss them very much during the holidays but I am looking forward to meeting with them and my new students in the new year!

Here’s to the women who have been killing it in 2022: the ones who reached their goals, who started their businesses, who prioritized themselves, who gave it everything they have, who became better versions of themselves, and who lifted others up along the way 🙌🏽

We see you and we are SO proud of you👸🏽

My life changed drastically this year in so many different ways. I TOOK RISKS & BET ON MYSELF!! I transitioned careers, I moved to a dope, peaceful unit, my business grew & flourished so much 💰, I spent time with special people ❤️, I traveled so much, I worked on my credit, I made investments, I became a Professor and a Youth Educator, I put together a wonderful podcast team 🥰, put in the work in the Finance Industry, battled with yet continue to overcome depression, anxiety & minor health issues & still found time to show up for myself, my family & my business. Although it’s also been a challenging, hard, tiring, emotional year I am So grateful to God for always giving me the strength, faith & perseverance to overcome 🙏🏼

Show up for yourself even when ish gets tough! You got this! God got you!

I feel so fortunate to be able to continuously fall into a line of work that is aligned with my passion, with community and with purpose. I just launched my youth program in a few schools and I’m so excited to be able to teach on my own terms and educate in areas that are highly important in transforming these children’s futures. It is amazing how when you truly take the time to listen to these youths aspirations and goals, you get to see how intelligent they truly are and how their personalities can truly shine✨

Say this mantra to yourself everyday. Because life gets really hard sometimes especially when you are at your highest peak. This year I’ve grown tremendously and the opportunities that I’ve obtained have been truly life changing but this year I’ve also experienced a lot of stress, a lot of mental and body changes, some light health issues. It has been hard juggling it all and I’ve had to sit my ass down a few times because I was making myself sick. I needed to make sure I was giving myself the time to also rest throughout the hustle. 💯

Feel the power within you but also make sure you are taking care of yourself. You need your very best self to accomplish what your mission in this lifetime is ❤️
