✮ Society Event: Chapter Retreat
Last weekend, our organization took a trip outside of Austin for a retreat! This gave us the opportunity to relax, take our minds off of our responsibilities, and simply enjoy each other’s presence. Check out some of the bonding activities we did! It’s safe to say this is definitely one for the books.

Our annual Nothing Bundt Cake fundraiser is here! These handcrafted bundt cakes come in a variety of delicious flavors. Try them all!

All proceeds from the fundraiser go towards Oak Springs Elementary School, our long-term philanthropy 🤍

📍 WHERE: Speedway, in front of Greg
💵 PAYMENT: $6.50 per bundtlet
- Cash, Venmo, and Zelle are all accepted

Formal 2023 Recap!

We had such a great time looking back at the ‘22 - ‘23 year! Our lambdas got their signature item and our graduating chickadees received their cords!

We had a great time meeting and catching up with alumni at the 2023 Alumni Brunch! Here are some highlights incase you missed out! Until next year

chi kappa phi peep class is partnering with down syndrome association of central texas so come support us and treat yourself to a meal. we will be selling spam musubi, nuggets, chips, cookies, and drinks next week (2/20-2/24)!  we will be on speedway from 11-3 PM everyday. we are also selling raffle tickets for $1 each. raffle prizes include gift cards and passes for iconic spots in austin. see you next week!

Hi everyone!

My name is Sage and I’m a sophomore Sustainability Studies and Communications double major from Sugar Land, TX! I joined KPhi last fall and am a part of the Kappa class. Our class philanthropy is Backpack Friends, an orgaization that provides meals for children who may not have access to food over the weekend. 

I joined KPhi at the start of my freshman year with the hopes of making friends and meeting people with similar values to me, which was exactly what I found. KPhi is a group of kind, driven people who work hard to make a difference in their community. I am SO glad I joined this org because it made the transition to college feel less intimidating since I had great friends to help me through it. 

I would recommend KPhi to anyone who wants to make a difference in the community while making friends and having TONS of fun along the way. I am so thankful that I decided to join this org and I can’t wait to meet all the incoming chickadees!!! :)

Hey I’m Naomi Walters! A little about me: I’m a senior majoring in biology from Frisco, Texas (kind of near Dallas) and I’m a fan of grapes and high fives. I joined kphi last year mainly because my friend told me to and I was in the market for a good org. So far I have loved it, there are such great people and experiences to be had. I’m a member of the kappa class (been putting the kappa in chi kappa phi since ’22 🤤). Our class philanthropy is backpack friends, an organization dedicated to to fighting childhood hunger by providing weekend food packs. Last semester for our peep project I work on the finance committee…🫠 and helped plan a carnival that raised over $1000 for backpack friends! I think people should join kphi because it is a great way to meet cool people while giving back to the community. Good luck in all your future endeavors babes 🫡.

Hey! I’m Corinne Williams, a (rising) Senior at UT studying International Relations and German! I joined Chi Kappa Phi my Junior year after hearing fun stories from a friend of mine who was in the organization. It has been one of the best experiences I’ve had at UT during my college career! You make so many new friends and actually get to make a difference helping the community of Austin!
The Kappa class philanthropy was Backpack Friends (an organization that fights childhood hunger in the Austin area by providing children with food and snacks). For our project, we hosted a mini carnival! I was on the Outreach committee and it was so fun when we got together to discuss our ideas and the methods in which we would spread the word (making posters, creating social media posts, etc).
I highly recommend joining Chi Kappa Phi- it provides a great opportunity to be a part of something bigger at UT while helping those in need.
