Last January 23, 2024, 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 was transformed into a vibrant showcase of creativity as 𝐔𝐀𝐏𝐒𝐀 𝐔𝐒𝐀 presented "𝗧𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗼: 𝐶𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝐶𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑦", an exhibit documenting the works of aspiring architects.

The event featured a diverse range of artwork, highlighting the innovative and imaginative spirit of the architectural community.

This event wouldn't have happened without the help of 𝗔𝗿. 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘀 and 𝗔𝗿. 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼. A big thanks to them for lending us the plates of their talented architecture students. We also appreciate the help of 𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗦 (Augustinian Computer Engineering Society), for providing tables, which contributed to the success of the event.

This architecture competition is one of the activities for National Architecture Week 2022 in collaboration with the Atelier Council. As we celebrate National Architecture Week 2022, the goal of the competition is to look back and give importance to the past and future of Filipino Architecture, in line with the theme “𝐓𝐚-𝐍𝐚𝐰 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚”.

In line with the celebration of National Architecture Week 2022 with the theme “𝐓𝐚-𝐍𝐚𝐰 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚” , United Architects of the Philippines-Student Auxilliary (UAPSA-USA) and Atelier Council prepared this competition just for you ka-Arkid!

GENERAL:

This competition is open for submissions of entries from anyone who
is a bonafide student, of any year level, studying Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of San Agustin.
All valid entries must be original in creating their own “world” and must center around the theme and goal of this year’s National Architecture Week 2022, “𝐓𝐚-𝐍𝐚𝐰 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚”.

This architecture competition is one of the activities for National Architecture Week 2022. As we celebrate National Architecture Week 2022, the goal of the competition is to look back and give importance to the past and future of Filipino Architecture, in line with the theme “𝐓𝐚-𝐍𝐚𝐰 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚”.

In line with the celebration of National Architecture Week 2022 with the theme “𝐓𝐚-𝐍𝐚𝐰 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚” , United Architects of the Philippines-Student Auxilliary (UAPSA-USA) prepared this competition just for you ka-Arkid!

GENERAL:

This competition is open for submissions of entries from anyone who
is a bonafide student, of any year level, studying Bachelor of Science in Architecture at the University of San Agustin.
All valid entries must be original in creating their own “world” and must center around the theme and goal of this year’s National Architecture Week 2022, “𝐓𝐚-𝐍𝐚𝐰 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐤𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚”.

1. The battle of the bands is exclusive to all BS-Architecture students in the University of San Agustin – Iloilo. There shall only be two bands per year level.
2. The band shall be composed of a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of seven (7) members including:
a. Vocalist
b. Drummer
c. Lead Guitar
d. Rhythm Guitar
e. Bassist
f. Keyboardist

𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐫: These are the possible roles that may be found within a band. It is not mandatory to fill all these positions, but slots should be filled for roles A-E.
3. One lead vocalist only. Instrumentalists, however, may also serve as vocalists.

1. This event shall be in accordance with the Atelier Council and UAPSA Guidelines. All deductions shall apply to relevant situations.
2. The Arki Filmfest 2022 is open to all year levels of the Department of Architecture.
3. Each year level should only have one film entry.
4. Entries’ lead stars, crew, and staff must be bona fide students of the University of San Agustin during the first semester of the school year 2022-2023 and must be enrolled in the department/college that they represent.
5. The team should only be a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 10 (excluding the lead stars).
6. The film should be in any of the Western Visayan languages. The film should be related to the theme for this year’s NAW.
7. Each group can select their film genre (Comedy, Horror, Romance, Drama, Sci-fi, etc.)
8. The film shall follow the NAW’s theme: Ta-NAW sa Sining at Bukas ng Arkitektura which will be an Architectural themed play.
