Tip #1. When you get up immediately take a few moments to express gratitude and or pray. You can write it down, follow a journal prompt or just simply say it in your head. Doing this each morning will shift your mindset to a calm, thankful place instead of a โtake/consumeโ mentality. ๐๐ฝโจ
Tip #2
As soon as you get up- consume 1-2 glasses of water. We just came from a faster state plus our Glymphatic system drains toxins while we sleep. When we consume water first thing- we are essentially helping our bodies flush those toxins out! ๐ง๐ง
Tip #3
Each new week plan out your workouts or movements for the week. Take a look at your schedule and write down which days you can fit in workouts and or some type of movement-like mid day walks. If you schedule it- the more likely it is to happen. ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ๐ถ๐ฝโโ๏ธ
Tip #4
Set a reminder or alarm on your phone to check in with friends and family during the week. This sounds silly, but we all have a lot going on and staying connected to friends and family is huge for our health. Relationships and community is key! ๐ฏโโ๏ธ
Tip # 5
Commit to getting 7+ hours of sleep every night. I know this is a tough one for most of us ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ But, our Glymphatic system only works while we sleep- so itโs super important to get that REM sleep in!!
Tip #6
Find creative and fun ways to manage your stress. Is it getting a massage, meditation, deep breathing, journaling, coloring, listening to a podcast, cooking, baking, exercising etc... the list goes on and on. โโ>The most important thing is to find ways to manage your stress. For me- some days itโs listening to 528 or 432 hrz music while journaling or doing a HIIT workout. Each day is unique- just find a few things that work well for you!! โค๏ธ

How do I know?
Because they were all mine. I suffered for 3 years with all of the above and some.
I went to countless Drs- spent close to $10,000 on tests, supplements and holistic practices to get relief and find answers.
What did I get???
A whole lotta nothing. Yes I had some temporary relief and I did get my period back- but no one could tell me what was going on and why I was experiencing all these issues.
I was a mystery?! ๐
That was until a friend of mine shared her story about mold and mycotoxin illness.

This is a question I get A LOT!!!
โWhat foods should I avoid if I suspect parasites?โ
Answer.... parasites thrive off of anything and everything youโre eating.๐๐
But....there are 3 specific foods that I would avoid if you suspect and or if you are doing a parasite cleanse.
First up is SUGAR! ๐ฐ๐ซ๐ง๐ฅง๐ฆ
Processed, natural, liquid- whatever form of sugar it is- parasites love it! ๐โค๏ธ
Parasites feed off of sugar. They use sugar as their primary source of energy and cannot survive without a steady supply. If their energy source is removed- they wonโt be able to reproduce. ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
๐๐ผSo, do your best to stay away from processed, added and sneaky sugary foods/drinks.
Think granolas, dried fruit, non dairy milks (usually have sugar added), juices, applesauce, smoothies etc..
# 2 Sushi/raw fish
This one is pretty obvious as sushi and raw fish can be a common source of parasites. Be sure to keep this out while youโre doing a cleanse ๐ฃ๐ฑ
#3 Pork
Undercooked pork can be another common source of parasites. ๐ท
Worm larvae can pass through the bloodstream of the pig and become trapped in the muscle- which you then eat and become infected.
So steer clear of pork ๐๐ผ๐
Of course I have other basic recommendations like: ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
-make sure you are drinking filtered water
-thoroughly wash your produce prior to consuming
-wash your hands when you leave the bathroom
-donโt sit on a public toilet
You know the basics ๐
So what foods should you be eating instead?? ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
-grass fed meats and pasture raised eggs
-coconut oil- which is anti parasitic
-reishi mushroom- huge anti parasitic, anti microbial and anti bacterial
-herbs like garlic, rosemary, thyme, ginger, oregano, turmeric and green onion- all of which have anti parasitic effects!
-pumpkin and sunflower seeds - both anti parasitic
As always, if you want to fully learn more about your parasite risk-lab work and functional signs and symptoms tests are the way to go. ๐๐๐ป

I personally love pumpkin seeds and reishi mushrooms!! I cannot eat enough of them! ๐๐
P**p!! ๐ฉ๐ฉ yโall I love talking about p**p-it truly makes me so happy!!
So many of us have no idea what our p**p is doing- we just sit down, wipe and flush without giving it a second thought. ๐๐ผ๐ฉ๐งป๐ฝ
But....whatโs happening down there?! ๐ง
The color, shape, size and smell of your p**p can give such good insight as to what is going on inside the body.
P**ping is normal and everyone does it- most people not enough๐ฝ
My standard recommendation is to p**p at least 2x a day. If youโre doing a pathogen eradication protocol, then it should be 3x or more. ๐ฉ๐
P**ping/the colon is the very FIRST part of the drainage pathway that you need to open.
๐๐ผ So, if youโre not p**ping 2x a day- then toxins, bacteria and other harmful chemicals are re-circulating through the body, reabsorbing and wreaking havoc.
So, what can you do?
Look at your poo!! ๐๐๐ฉ๐ฉ

Let me say this loud and clear- detoxing and drainage are two very different things!!
Iโm sure the majority of us are familiar with detoxing and how it works in the body.
But- what about drainage? No one is talking about this process.
๐๐ผDrainage is simply how well the body processes and moves toxins/ fluids out of the body.
This process happens 24/7- by your 7 drainage systems ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
The Brain Glymphatic System
The Lymphatic system
The Skin
The lungs
The kidneys
The liver/bile duct
The colon
๐๐ผDetoxing- is grabbing onto chemicals and toxins and pulling them out of the body.
Detoxing focuses on specific pathogens in the body to be removed ie- mold, parasites, heavy metals, Lyme etc.
๐ฃDetoxing should NOT happen before opening the drainage pathways.
This is super duper important!!!

If the drainage pathways are not open and clear -those toxins and chemicals you are attempting to pull out will get stuck along the drainage track๐๐ผ๐๐ผ Only to be reabsorbed and recirculate throughout the body.
When this happens- it is very common for a herx reaction to occur. Meaning youโre gonna feel like ๐ฉ๐ฉ from all those pathogens floating around getting reabsorbed.
Herx reactions can look very much like the flu- nausea, digestive issues, fever, headaches, insomnia etc...
Needless to say itโs not pretty and definitely not worth it. ๐๐ป๐๐ป
๐ฆ The lesson here- donโt rush into detoxing.
Please work with a practitioner who will guide you through a drainage process first!!!

Factors that impact our birth toxicity buckets are based on our mothers pregnancy, her health, her toxicity bucket, her stress levels, her sleep, her diet, your fathers health, his toxicity bucket etc . ๐คฐ๐ฝ
Each one of those- impacts your toxicity bucket at birth. Then after birth- your own experiences and circumstances start to fill it up. โฝ๏ธ

Drainage pathways are the bodies built in cleaning system. Constantly removing toxins, pathogens, waste and cellular debris 24-7! ๐งน
Think of these pathways as a funnel- one pathway drains down to the one below and so on and so forth -until they get to the colon where everything is eliminated.
๐๐ผHowever, if there is blockage or stagnation at any point along the funnel- the above pathways become blocked and everything up stream is unable to properly drain.

๐งWater depends on electrolytes for proper absorption into the cells. Without electrolytes- water just flows around the cells missing the absorption into the cell all together.
๐งThis can cause you to urinate frequently, daily headaches, cramping, fatigue, anxiety, irritability and just feeling thirsty AF. ๐ฅต
๐๐ผSodium is both an electrolyte and a mineral and it is highly effective in balancing the amount of water inside and outside of the cells.
๐๐ผWithout proper sodium levels-there will be too much water floating outside the cells instead of inside. Again- leading to all those feelings of dehydration/frequent urination.
๐๐ผUnrefined sea salt, Celtic sea salt, Himalayan sea salt, volcanic sea salt and my personal favorite real salt are some excellent options to add your water daily.

The insomnia was real last night! ๐ด
So- one of the biggest questions I get is โhow do I know if I have parasites?โ
Truthfully there are sooo many signs and symptoms out there, but this list contains the ones I see most frequently.
๐๐ผFor me insomnia, a racing heart, anxiety and lower belly bloating were huge.
๐For others it can be depression, uncontrolled sugar cravings, teeth grinding and headaches.
๐๐ปWe are all unique and our bodies respond differently to parasites.

Well- check to see if youโre symptoms are heighten around the full moon- aka a few days before-on the full moon and a few days after. If they are then itโs time for a parasite cleanse. ๐๐ฉ
