Double tap if you needed this reminder today 👇

Looking after your health is an act of self-love that I think a lot of women don't allow themselves to prioritise.

We're often so busy filling up everyone else's cup first and making sure everyone else is ok and fed that we forget to fill our own...we feel guilty if we put ourselves first...because society has taught us that if we do, we're selfish.

Women are genetically programmed to be nurturers and caregivers. But if we don't take care of ourselves first we'll have nothing left to give or share with others.

Can you relate to this? If your answer is YES...I challenge you...what's one thing that you know you need to do for your health, but you've been putting off because you've been too busy looking after everyone else?

Go on sis, go out there, do that thing, be selfish. Then come back and tell me how you feel!

》𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗯𝗼𝗺𝗯...Packet mixes for sweet treats traditionally contain all sorts of additives and preservatives to keep them fresh, refined sugar...and no nutritional value. But these days clean mixes are so much more accessible. Especially now that we have moved into the world of e-commerce and online shopping! These Peanut Butter Blondie bars by the don't contain and nasties so you can be confident in knowing exactly what you are putting into you and your family's bodies.

Oh and these took less than a minute to whip up because the mix is already pre-blended so all you have to do is add coconut oil, mix together and stick it in the fridge.

🎅 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎅 // Especially to those who have been kept apart from their loved ones this year.
~
This is a strange Christmas for me. It's only the second time in my life I have not spent it with my friends and family in Adelaide and I am so grateful for for taking me in as a Christmas orphan.
~
During these weird times it's easy to focus on what we're missing it out on. So I'd love for you to COMMENT 👇 below one thing that you are grateful for right. Because if we don't take time to fill our life with gratitude all we will find is emptiness.
~
Right now I am grateful for my amazing friends and family. This year I have stayed true to myself no matter the cost...through this process I have received so much love and support from the people around me...in a world that is otherwise being divided.
~
If this has been a sh*tty year for you, please know that you are not alone and we are all on this journey together navigating it the best way we know how. Never feel ashamed to reach out and ask for support that you need.

CHOC CHICKPEA & CASHEW COOKIES

SAVE this post and TAG a friend who would love these ❤

Chickpea cookies?! Yes, you read that correctly! Chickpeas! I know it sounds strange but trust, you’ll be thanking me later. Minimal ingredients and so quick to make.

Completely free from any refined sugar, hydrogenated oil, gluten and dairy. Don’t tell the kids about the chickpeas and I bet they will scoff these in 5 seconds flat! Meanwhile you’re giving them a good dose of complete plant protein.

Also a special shout out to for their
sugar free chocolate chips 🤤

RECIPE is on my website www.thebodhicoach.com

STRESS // Are you stressed the f*ck out??
 ~
SAVE this post + DOUBLE TAP ❤ if you have experienced stress over the last 20 months? 🙋‍♀️
~
A couple of months ago I had the privilege of speaking to an incredible network of corporate women about how stress impacts our bodies without us even realising.
 ~
Stress is the feeling of being overwhelmed or unable to cope with mental or emotional pressure.
 ~
Most of the time we are so used to running on empty that we don’t make the connection between our busy lifestyle and our declining physical and mental health. This is because stress silently knocks our hormones out of balance and increases inflammation in our body. This destroys our immune system, setting up the perfect storm for illness and disease.
 ~
We’ll often have reasons why we can’t do something to ease that stress like hire more staff…or help at home, spend less time working, diversify our income, eat healthier, move more, sleep better. And right now some of our stress feels out of our control. Especially over the last 20 months.
 ~
I’d love for you to be real with yourself, over the last couple of years:
 ~
Have you experienced stress?

Do you feel that the stress of the last couple of years has affected your health?

What are some of the challenges you have been experiencing?

What are some behaviours you can see creeping in when you’re stressed?

What is one simple change you can make to your lifestyle or nutrition today?

If you feel safe to share, COMMENT 👇🏼 some of your answers below.
