This 1945 photograph by W. Eugene Smith hung above Tennessee Williams’ work desk for a number of years. Tenn told writer James Grissom: "I think that I always thought of my characters as I do these children: vulnerable, hopeful, lost. Now I find that I think of my fellow men as I do these children: vulnerable, hopeful, lost; a little sweet. It has made the act of living infinitely easier, kinder."

I'm glad to be returning to Utah to play at the Moab Folk Festival! I have many happy memories of playing in Utah. In fact, my show in Salt Lake City in March of 1988 was one of the only bright spots on my entire first cross country tour. I wasn't sure I would be able to make a go of it, by the end of that trip. Fortunately things got better! I start Friday night at 7 pm.❤

On Saturday I played at the Bryn Mawr Twilight Concert Series. We had a storm, a rainbow and a show! There was no lightning, just wind and rain. People mostly went to their cars until the rain stopped. But they came back!

There was lots of song filled fun at The Swannanoa Gathering last week, working with the students and being a student myself, in Tom Paxton’s classes! ♥️🎼♥️🎼♥️
