This gear, like the fishing line we found during a recent beach cleanup, can entangle and potentially kill marine mammals, sea turtles, and other wildlife. This is one of the main types of debris impacting the marine environment today according to NOAA Fisheries Service. You can help by picking this up if you find it on the beach and safely disposing of it!
