UPDATE TO OUR LAST POST
Please see below a photo of one of the trees that was donated to The Big Yellow Bus Garden Project by Sturminster Rotary Club. It’s looking good already.
The whole of the Big Yellow Bus Garden is coming to life now , the garden is open to the public why don’t you go down and see the great work that they are doing. You will find them on The Blandford Road just outside Shillingstone.
It was nice to see Paul again , from The Big Yellow Bus Project, when he kindly allowed our Rotary Club to make a donation to the Queens Canopy initiative.
Ed,Nici,Phil and Steve delivered four trees ,patching up the orchard and adding shade and interest to a new glade. Steve managed to almost jam the entrance with the minibus that was used to transport the trees. Luckily we picked the only gap in the weather between heavy rain storms that should settle the trees in.
The Big Yellow Bus Project is a fantastic resource for the whole community and aims to be an oasis for anyone and everyone. If you want to know more about this fantastic organisation which has a focus on health and well-being whilst producing a great garden that is open to all go to their page.
