Our program is an awesome partnership with Cultivate Pathways and Lynn Vocational Technical Institute where we are adapting our web development and entrepreneurship curriculum into a Spanish + English bilingual program.

The program is called AbreTech, and we're building a new path to upward mobility for English language learners by developing emerging bilingual talent for in-demand careers in the tech industry. Their cross-sector model includes paid bilingual internships, employer-valued certifications, and access to social capital.

Check out these creations from , a creative agency of BIPOC high school students who get real world experience creating social media content for mission-driven organizations.
Our students have told us that this pandemic has made them feel stuck and that their dreams are on hold. They came up with the name “The Next Step” for the creative agency we are co-creating because they are eager and ready to be out learning in the real world, even if they have to do it over Zoom.

Most of their meetings are spent collaborating on social media content for education clients and working with mentors from CodeSpeak Labs. Once a month students like (who designed page 1 and 2) also have the opportunity to use their graphic design skills to work on a social justice campaign of their choosing. Students in our founding cohort worked on Black Lives Matter, Stop Asian Hate, and speaking out on the border crisis for immigrants and refugees.
