I have already been busy starting the preparations for Ohio Pies’ 8th Thanksgiving; roasting pumpkins & sweet potatoes, making crust, ordering supplies and ingredients, and so on. You can head to the website www.ohiopies.com to see the menu and secure your Thanksgiving pies. And as usual I will be making extras for sale at our Thanksgiving pop-up. I’m looking forward to making them for you!

Today is the very last Bexley farmers market of the season. I have loved seeing you there every week! I’m bringing all your usual fall favorites, plus this pumpkin cake made with organic candy roaster squash and Rouge de Bordeaux flour, topped with a spiced cream cheese frosting. And some sprinkle cookies (just like the ones my granny used to make) for fun. See you there 💕

Hello friends! We are nearing the end of another market season, somehow still standing, still making pie. Today is the second-to-last Bexley Farmers Market , and Saturday will be my last appearance at Clintonville for the season, as I make time to start preparing for the holidays (thanksgiving orders open 11/4!) On Sunday you will find us at Apple Fest in German Village where we will have some special treats just for the occasion 🍏💕 I look forward to seeing you, and thank you! ❤️

Just a month remains of my regular market season, with holding its last market this Saturday. I’m bringing some new treats to today like fluffernutter pie, apple cinnamon pinwheels, and slices of chocolate chess (a special request).

I did not grow up on fluffernutter pie but have been wanting to try it out since put out their delicious version. It’s a lighted spiced, sweetened, and buttery oatmeal crust, filled with a creamy peanut butter layer, topped with my homemade marshmallow meringue. An indulgent delight!
