When you support handmade or small business with your shopping, it sends ripples of positivity to creatives throughout the year. 2023 has been an interesting one for me with the economy, some wholesale accounts shifting down and some other opportunities emerging. I’ve used the transitional time to explore making sculptural vessels and that surface experimentation has freshly informed my functional work, which has been fun and exciting. My pottery business has a new emphasis on direct sales. I’m currently not able to offer online discounts but I can confidently say, if collecting my work for you or another, that I believe it to be the best I’ve made in my 25 years with clay.
The weekend was spent taking inventory of my pieces and updating the site shop. There are lots of new items and you can have the broadest pick today! Check my stories for direct links to shop. Never say never but I’m pretty sure I’ve made all my mugs for the year 😊

Heading home with my heart full from a great couple days with family.
Check out this gorgeous Thanksgiving table setting in a dinnerware client’s splendidly contemporary custom home. I delivered 48 pieces to her this month, a 12 piece place setting in the Waxing Moon design with 2 plates and 2 bowls. She chose to have them for her holiday table. So thrilled to have my functional art as part of her home.
