With this proven framework, you can wrap up in just half an hour and never go over time again, even with a free Zoom account. Here’s how I conduct regular client calls and weekly check-ins: 1. What has been done - I review what milestones and tasks were accomplished in the past week. - A task and metrics tracker sheet that I update on a weekly basis really helps with this. 2. What needs to be done - I present action items that need client input, approval and review. 3. What are we doing next week - A short, quick laundry list of various tasks and goals for the next meeting. Each stage is usually about 5-10 minutes long so you can wrap everything up in half an hour. I conduct more lengthy meetings that cover the big picture of our digital marketing activities every 3-6 months. Pro-tip: don’t upgrade your zoom call to a paid version. Why? The 40-minute time limit for the free plan is perfect and gives you the perfect excuse to start wrapping up in about half-an hour. My thing about meetings is this: if you can’t keep it under 30 minutes, it doesn’t make sense to have one. #digitalmarketing #freelance #marketingagency #digitalstrategy

Singapore studio WOHA designed the PARKROYAL on Pickering hotel as an extension of Hong Lim Park, a new green space located next to the site in the centre of the city’s business district. By adding plant-covered balconies and terraces around the exterior, the architects were able to create 15,000 square metres of greenery - around double the area of the site - and give every guest a garden view from their room window. 10,000x That’s the amount of sunset/sunrise I want to see in this lifetime. I’ve probably seen the sun set or rise about less than 3,000 times already. I have my favorites. This means trying to get to a spot to see the sun rise or set 2-3 times a week until I’m 90. Hard, but not impossible.

Your name, your brand. Owning a domain with your name is a strategic move if you want to grow your presence online. It’s a professional touch that not only helps people find you online but also reinforces your personal brand. You can use this domain as a central hub for your portfolio, blog, or even as a custom email address. It’s a small investment that can pay off significantly in the long run.

I turned 43 this year. Here are 7 key numbers to remind myself to live an intentional life: 1. Less than 100 - that’s the maximum number of times left I get to see close friends in this lifetime. Every ticket counts. 2. 10,000 - the amount of sunset or sunrise I want to see. I’ve probably seen the sun set or rise about less than 3,000 times already. I have my favorites. To get to 10,000, it means trying to get to a spot to see the sun rise or set 2 or 3 times a week until I’m 90. Doable. 3. 1.5 Billion seconds - A million seconds is 11 days. A billion seconds is slightly over 31 years. Age 50 is probably the last time you will be a time billionaire. Doing the math, I roughly have about 1.5 billion seconds left in this ride. I’m going to make each one count. 4. 2 hours - that’s the number of hours in a day I can be productive at the most, the rest are just fillers. I try to be strategic about what I do in those 2 hours. 5. 1,000 weeks - that’s roughly the amount of weeks I have until I’m 60, when my health will start to decline. I only have about a thousand productive weeks left, what do I want to focus on? 6. 72,000 - A 90 year life is about 780,000 hours. A career optimistically is just 72,000 hours in total. Which means that more than 90% of our time on earth is already spent “not working” - so I’m not going to waste time building a career or someone else’s business and just go straight to doing work that makes me happy. 7. 3 - number of generations that you will be remembered in. By the time your great grandson becomes an adult - everything you ever did, everyone you know and every aspect of your life here on earth will be gone. You will be forgotten in three generations, so might as well do everything that will make it meaningful for you, not for anyone else. Everything else is confetti. 🎥: audio from @melrobbins

How do you get any work done on these trips? We do not live differently when we travel. Whether at home or on the road, we try and do things that make us happy. To me, that’s focusing on doing meaningful work, reading, writing and drawing. Here’s how my usual day lines up: - Wake-up/Wash-up/Short workout - Breakfast - Work/Leisure - Lunch - Work/Leisure - Work-out/Meditate/Afternoon Nap - Dinner - Work/Leisure - Short workout/Wash-up/Bedtime Times are always variable. Applicable anywhere. “Only do what you can reasonably sustain for years and years.” - Jane Friedman

“Pick an industry where you can play long term games with long term people.” - Naval Ravikant When you have fun, it doesn’t matter how long you play. Or who you play with. Or if you’re winning. But when you play a game you don’t like, even winning feels like losing. So it’s important that you pick one: 1. that you can play for a long time regardless of short-term results. 2. that you want to win in the first place. What game are you playing? #buildinpublic #rntble #onlinebranding

“Bitterness always comes to those who look back on a life of choices imposed upon them from the outside.” - Wade Davis In our 20s and 30s, we tried too hard to reach the goals we made for ourselves. Make money. Buy the thing. Be that person. These days, our lives are much simpler with straightforward prompts: “Let’s grab lunch at Ikea?” “Dinner tayo sa Intramuros.” “Massage tomorrow?” We’re trying to build the dream not a prison. #buildinpublic #rntble

"This principle has profound implications for urban life. The value of land is governed by its accessibility—which is to say, by the reasonable speed of transport to reach it." Read 'The Commuting Principle That Shaped Urban History' by Jonathan English here: https://buff.ly/3kFtB4I

‪Decades from now, we’re going to look back and ask: “Which years were the best of our life together?”‬ ‪There’s still a long way to go, but I suspect 2022 would be near at the top of the list. Not because of the adventures and experiences, although they were numerous. There were triumphs, certainly - but there were disappointments and sorrow as well. ‬ ‪This year would stand out because of the days we can hardly remember. I’ve taken the habit of writing down a favorite weekly memory, and the quiet, repeated days of us just being at home, working, watching tv, sharing meals and tending to each other’s worries are routinary.‬ ‪But it is in those moments, that we do what we do best: Love each other to the fullest. And that comes from you.‬ ‪”Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction.” - Antoine de Saint-Exupery‬ ‪The best days of our lives always start and end with you. Happy birthday Mahal! ‬
