What a fun night! Marshall walked away with the W, putting up some damn impressive scores.
We had some new folks and first timers and everyone is super supportive and kind. Really dig this community we're building, y'all!

Fred, our resident ringer, took home the gold again this Wednesday! I forgot to take his picture on tournament night, but I happened upon him enjoying his spoils of war (beers bought with a gift card to the bar).

Hey all! Getting real excited for the first league night for Olympia Pinball League on Wednesday at The Pig Bar!
I wanted to clarify tournament scoring and a couple other things before Wednesday night, because it looks like a lot of you plan on coming! Awesome!
First off- ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOMED. This is all about fun and building community. If someone is being a snobbish butt they'll need to talk to me. Don't make me talk to you about being a butt. 😘
Tournament rules-
- We are only running on 5 pins, so there will be a max of 20 players for the tournament. (max. 4 players on 5 machines at a time)
- Sign up starts at 8:45, so show up on time if you want to secure your spot!
- Players are split into 5 groups and each group gets to play 2 full 3 ball rounds on your first machine. (sometimes you just play a crap game!)
- The 2 players with the highest cumulative score between the 2 rounds played will play against each other on that first machine to determine a champion for each machine.
- The 5 champions will solo play EACH machine 1 time. Whoever wins the most games WINS THE TOURNAMENT!
- Our grand champion wins a gift card to the Pig and bragging rights until next week!
1st runner up, 2nd runner up and last place will receive a compilation prize!
I expect the tournament to go for about an hour or so, so if you hang out you'll have a chance to play some even if you miss tournament sign up.
Feel free to come hang out whether you are playing or not! Fun times with cool peeps.
