A fantastic day at City Hall rallying for Intro 93… which would provide rent regulations for Small Biz. We were joined by one of 25 co-sponsors of Intro 93. Our “ village”is in district so call 212 788 6979 and urge him to support Intro 93

NoLita is flipping to chains…new landlords are combining small shops to create larger spaces to attract candle, sunglass and clothing chains. Service stores have disappeared.

This is a photo of neighbor Ellie Carl from a few years ago…she was over 90 at the time. We are saddened to write that Ellie passed last week, she would have been 99 this coming May.
There will be a mass at St. Anthony of Padua on Sunday January 22 at 11 am and Wednesday January 25 at the Rectory Chapel at noon.
