Sometime in the early 1960s...

Our main project of the Interfaith Council is: Interfaith Food Shelf (518-562-FOOD)

Open weekdays 9am-Noon housed in the Plattsburgh United Methodist Church at 127 Beekman Street in Plattsburgh (closed holidays) plus Fridays from 4p to 6p

Our purpose is to provide fellowship among the religious institutions of Clinton County, design interfaith worship services, study the social and spiritual needs of the region, and develop programs to meet them.

Our second project right now is the Oasis Project which allows homeless students in primary and secondary schools to have a safe and nurturing environment in which to study, do homework, interact with mentors and have enjoyable peer interaction - plus a nutritious snack!
