Every stay at the Garden House helps us help Vieques. As the founder and President of Our Big Fat Caribbean Rescue, viequesrescue.com, we use money generated by our rental to fund our Community Outreach and Spay&Neuter programs in Vieques. Our goal is to sterilize 80% of the dogs in Vieques. We are working hard to make Vieques the first island in the Caribbean who humanely controls their animal population. We are also trapping and sterilizing our cats to lessen their unwanted litters ensuring healthy cat colonies.
