Our Story
Owners Margaret and Steve Smith started carrying Lilly Pulitzer in their original store location, the Wilmington Country Store, in the late 90's. After being invited to attend a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store presentation in Palm Beach, the Smiths opened their first Signature Store. They loved the idea of working with the iconic brand! When it came to deciding where to open the store, the Smiths looked for a location that offered charm and personality. Annapolis with its' resort-like atmosphere was the perfect fit! When deciding on the perfect name for the store, The Pink Crab was suggested, due to the Maryland location, and the rest, as they say, is history! Margaret and Steve Smith opened their doors on Main Street in 2001. In 2013, the second Pink Crab store opened in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware!
