Campbelltown mUWSic Club

HEY GUYS! A huge welcome to anyone who is new and our apologies for anyone who's been with us for a while and know that we've been really quiet lately (ironic for a music club :P)

Just letting you guys know that we're still really keen for the mUWSic club to continue in 2016 but we really need new people to help us run jam sessions!

Times and places can be arranged for whenever you're able and willing- we've got some awesome equipment that we're eager to use :D

mUWSicians are having a jam session at the Campbelltown res common room with some new instruments for the club - come over and check it out!

SAD UPDATE, PLS READ: After I spent all morning talking to various staff and finalising the jam session, it seemed like it was all sorted but then at 11 oclock, they told me the session could not go ahead today unsure emoticon Very sorry for any inconvenience caused. I did my best over the last 3 days to make this happen. Lessons learned is that apparently we need to plan this a week in advance (which was always going to be hard to do for the first week). Therefore I have taken action and acquired the necessary contact details to do this.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE: They said it would be much more viable to book a permanent room if we do it late in the afternoon e.g. 4-6pm. I was thinking Wednesday afternoon as a regular time slot. How does this time suit you?

UPDATE: Location of the jam session today is the Student Residencies Common Room. From 11-1.

If you're unsure where that is, please see the map below. The common room is marked as 23CR, and is located next to the big carpark P11.

Oh, and did I mention, I will be bringing my new KEYTAR! ;)

It's official! The first jam session of 2015 will be held tomoro (Tuesday) from 11-1. I spoke to Nick the campus life officer and he said first thing tomoro morning I should go and see him to book a room. So watch this space and I will update with the location tomoro morning! Dylan
