Friends, if you’re joining me on Nov. 11th, out in Quinter, Ks., this is option #1 that you’ll choose from to paint! This will be a 9:30 - 12:30 paint session hosted my Center Pivot! I’ll be walking you through step by step but you can change colors or shape design if you opt to.

Cost $43 early sign up with a $10.75 deposit upon signing, the rest due the day of. Deposit amount only Is non refundable if you no show. Sign up on 9th -party date is $48.

I always take some extra canvas, but signing up helps me determine how much paint and other supplies and easels to bring.

Please bring a pack of baby wipes as I will have some, but there are so many and people have allergies to some brands.

I’ll be posting the other two painting options this week/weekend! I have 10 or 12 spots reserved as of now!

I’m putting in one small throw blanket order, to get these in for Christmas! These are 50x60” fleece/poly material. I can get them in for $40 just like the last batch, but I can not exchange for any on the prior order. The catch is…….. I have to have orders by tomorrow Tuesday), pl7 pm. I get short notices on these deadlines, so I am sorry about that, but wanted to pass on the option.

I’ve have so much I want to get done……..I get ahead, and add more projects! That’s how I work the best tho, under pressure! I haven’t stayed up all night painting for a while, but I did last night! I’ll pay for it all day today but then I’m not done…….. I’ve got party’s to prepare for! So I’ve had some play time on a few of these and worked on a baseball one for Simon’s team fundraiser(example) the high bid gets their son/daughter painted! I love my paint life, it’s never boring! I can and do mess up, I always learn, and IT emerges!

The pre-sign up helps me prepare what’s definitely needed for my guests! I understand emergencies and sickness happens, the 25% is non refundable as a no-show prevents me from filling your spot.

Been waiting to dabble with this one. The trip to Botanica Gardens reminded me and it was a good exercise to loosen my hand and pallet knife! But now I just want to take a trip to the lake!

So I’ve been on vaca/family reunion all weekend…..but I pulled a little down time together with my brushes and paint and honored the reason we all have our freedom. God bless our military, those who do, and those who have done. Happy Memorial Day.

While we’re making our changes to our space to accommodate my studio and teaching area, I’ve been stocking up on supplies to welcome the people who want to come be a part of a class, a paint party, or one on one lessons! My parents always said the most worth while things don’t come easy and if you can pay as you go, do it! I’m pretty confident I’ve got a good stash to get us ALL painting! I’m aiming for mid April to share my space, art, and vintage shop with you all! Stick around, it’s gonna be fun!

I’m making a choice to still do my home health/hospice work part time. These people are a huge reason for me, offer stories and inspire me, and I’m the light in the day for many of them. I’m not taking that last part away from anyone!

Can I do it all and do it well? We’re gonna find out!

Busy isn’t for everyone! Permanent homes love simple too!

I’m finishing up some custom work, finished my quick online class, starting some new studies tomorrow, but would like be to continue with some different landscapes for practice! A little reminder of the reason for the season paint play between custom work!

Getting my paint back on with lots of fun ideas and thoughts in my head...... but this one..... it’s all about painting for the Veterans! We get to be who we are because of them becoming the men and women that they needed to be or want to be. Don’t ever forget that young 17/18 year old boys( some younger), made their way into the army because our country needed them. Don’t forget the young ladies who went in as nurses and served. There were no cell phones, no scooters, no gaming set ups, no work from home jobs, and you certainly respected what you had and the people in your town. They are a great reason why many family generations are military today! A huge thank you!
