Nostalgia. Growing up in Orange County, McClain’s coffee shop was an iconic place I would frequent. On Saturday nights you could bounce around Downtown Fullerton watching live music at McClain’s and The Hub (before it was Slidebar). So many good memories! This photo was my last visit to McClain’s before covid forced so many small businesses to close. In this world of giants with a Walmart or Starbucks at every corner, places like McClain’s are hidden gems. Unique, eclectic, places where someone has invested into themselves, into their dreams...I hate to see these gems buried by big, cold, corporate businesses.

One of the best parts of my job is getting to work with amazing brands, but also getting to work with my friends along the way. , , and I had a blast getting to work together and step outside of our comfort zones.

Getting to be apart of the campaign was such an amazing experience. (Tess), the owner and founder of , is such an amazing person with a beautiful soul. This brand is empowering women thru their makeup bags, and with names like “you are worthy” and “you are loved”, you really do feel like you can take on the world with no hesitation.

I can’t wait to share laughs, empowering conversation, and the occasional tears with these phenomenal women again.

Why is being weird a bad thing?

I’ve always embraced my weirdness. It’s what makes me the creature I am today. Being “unique” was always the word I would use to combat the term weird, but now I can’t help but love it. And it’s because of me being weird that I found my place in the social media industry, doing what I love.

Looking back on what was normal is such an amazing joy ride. ISSE 2020 was such a great experience. Getting to watch these artists on stage doing what they love is so inspiring. I really enjoy getting to meet these talents. But honestly the best part about what I do is getting to capture those moments for my clients.

With everything going on in the world I’m very fortunate to be able to work from home, but I honestly can’t wait to experience another event in this new world we are learning to live in.

When a light shines so bright we are tempted to look away, why? Listen girl, you have worked so hard for this moment. You where pierced by the thorns in the desert, you crawled threw the valley. Enjoy your Mountain View. No one knows all the sacrifices, the late nights, the top ramen dinners, no one understands except you. No is your time to shine bright. I’ve always found graffiti fascinating. Watching an artist at work, the mess of colors hitting the textured surfaces, and slowly but surely solidifying into one beautiful piece of art.

Take time to find the beauty around you. Working in social media, I have the opportunity to find these amazing places and photo them. Can’t wait to be able to go on another adventure.

It took me a long time to love myself. Hell, it took me a long time to even understand myself. I’ve never been what society considers normal, nor have I ever really fit into a cookie cutter life style.

Reflecting on the past I realize that I am my own soul mate. No one will ever have my back like I have my back... Ok maybe does. But I mean, she’s work Bae. Haha.

Remembering one of my Vegas trips. and I make it out there a few times a year. This year has been such an intense experience for all of us, it’s always nice to take a second to look at a simpler time.

PRIDE has always been a celebration to so many in the LGBTQ+ culture. We celebrate the Stone Wall and all the Trans women of color who taught for our rights and protection against police brutality. We celebrate Harvey Milk and his battle to recruit you to fight for change. We celebrate love and life. And we celebrate our PRIDE and courage to be open about who we are, Human beings who choose to love who we love.

18 years ago today, my whole world changed. I was knocked out of my spot as the youngest when we welcomed this amazing girl into the world.

Zowie, watching you grow has been such an amazing experience. I love you my little miss I wish you the happiest of birthdays. We will do something amazing to celebrate when all this madness is over.

Growing up I always struggled with body image. I was the kid that wore sweat pants and a sweater even in the heat during P.E., and I’d always wear a shirt in swimming pools and at beaches. As I’ve gotten older I’ve learned to love myself no matter my size. I’m very proud of how far I’ve come, from wearing an extra large to a small.
