Had a great time at limes restaurant for my brothers birthday. Wearing vikisews miley bodysuit and Daria patterns Luma wrap skirt. Love a little lilac vibe. Slowly working through my huge list of things I want to make… sorry if your getting bored of my outfit post

Finally got round to making my first Luma skirt 💜🪡 and I love it. Such a cute pattern, the video on YouTube was super easy to follow. I learnt a lot too as I tend to go more fully lined with my makes rather than facings. The fabric I used was a bit more lightweight than I anticipated so I cut 2 of the back for a more structured look and with it being a light colour. I think if I was to make it again in the Burlington suiting I would also cut 2 of the front top piece to weight it down a little better a prevent crinkles. All in all though super happy with how it turned out.

- I shortened the length an inch because of my petite height
- and also took the width in a little at the bottom as I found it elongated my legs a little 🤣 but I think it was still lovely more a-line too

Loved altering Danielle’s wedding dress and the older bridesmaids dresses. As well as custom making ivory chantilly lace t-Shirts and light blue soft tulle tutu skirts for the 2 flower girls 🤍💙🪡

Christmas Day was great apart from the hangover on Boxing Day 🙈🤪 wore my Xmas jumper dress ❄️🎄🪡 excited for what the new year will bring 😊

The sarah swimsuit is now available to order as custom made in any fabric/colour. It’s a lovely fit and the neckline can be customised to suit you if you want it more open or closed with a mesh panel like mine. Available in full coverage or cheeky. Mine has 2 extra long wrap around ties from the neckline but whilst wearing it I think it’s best to have a short halter tie then a separate optional wrap around waist tie 🌊🪡

I think next time I’ll take some fullness out of the sleeve before cutting out the fabric so I can keep the original sleeve design (I always find things loose at my shoulders) and still a little unsure about the length (perhaps cut a little short for my liking)..

But love the style and the fit of the bodice and the pattern instructions were really easy to follow.

- improvements I’m gunna zig zig stitch around all the edges of the swimsuit in future to prevent the lining showing. Though it’s reversible so normal hems wouldn’t have worked 😊

My last 2020 bridal booking got to have her special day over the weekend 🤍🥂 so that’s all my 2020 bookings now married post Covid 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️ congratulations to you all!

It’s been a super busy year/wedding season with lots of beautiful dresses for me to work on thank you

I am still at full capacity until at least 4th September so won’t be taking anything new on for a few weeks.

I have also booked a week off from 12th September and hoping to have my first full week off this year 🙈 so I guess I’m saying a won’t be taking on anything new for a while as I have plenty and I’m going to be working on the monster 2023 uniforms 💚🪡
