Do you receive your real estate commissions under your own LLC?

The benefits of having your commission paid to your LLC instead of your name are:

• Allows you to save on self employment taxes by creating an S-Corp which is a pass through entity. Consult with your tax preparer to see how this structure will benefit you

• Allows you to run your business like a BUSINESS and separate your personal and business expenses.

• Allows you to grow a business to establish a business bank account, business credit, obtain business loans, and more.

Most prospects start their homebuying or selling search online before ever speaking to an Agent.

It is very important to have a consistent social media presence. Are you set up on these platforms:

You should have a well written bio on the sites that allow it and a consistent brand message across all platforms.

September is Realtor Safety month! With the real estate industry being on 🔥 and most Agents being busier than ever before, shortcuts may be taken in the safety department to get the deal done.

This is no time to relax your safety standards. You can minimize your risk of being attacks by just following minimum safety standards such as never taking out a person without first verifying they are pre-approved, meeting new clients at the office or in a public place for the first time, and never meeting someone new at a vacant property.

By implementing your own safety standards and not veering from them can be the difference between life and death! It also doesn't hurt to take a self defense class just in case you find yourself in a situation. Know how to protect yourself and get away!
