Los espero para que me acompañen en este reconocimiento y celebremos la revolución Mexicana juntos.
My modern minimalist altar to welcome my departed family with love and remembrances. I will gather more photos in 2025 to recognize those who departed earlier for next year's festivities.

It was fun. The exhibit ends today, if you want to see it.
Thanks to Casa Ramirez FOLKART Gallery for inviting me to share my paintings at Neiman Marcus 's celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. The celebration exhibit also included the art by Laura Lopez Cano, traditional dresses, handicrafts, and traditionally-made palm hats too. And live music and nibbles!
Thanks to all who came by to share 'hispanidad'!

With The Health Museum – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉
Very thankful to be included in this exhibit at Neiman Marcus with some of my paintings from the Mexico collection.
I hope you can attend the reception this Saturday. Be sure to RSVP and see you there! Be sure and say hello.
October marks another anniversary of the launching of my first book, . As an event planner I'm usually the little wizard behind the curtain that runs out on cue when opportune. In this case, there was so much going on that it would only happen with a little magic. Enter Gloria and Ceci, my literary friends and fairy godmothers who stepped up to run the book and print table. They were not the only ones to help that evening. It was truly a blessing and a gift to have such a supportive team of colleagues, family and friends help me deliver a perfect event at MECA. Diana X. Our Story
My blog: http://lilibethandre.wordpress.com
Saatchi Art: https://www.saatchiart.com/account/profile/66540
I’m a Houston artist. I work in water-soluble oils (to avoid solvents), acrylics, pastels, pencil and watercolor. I do portraits, landscapes and I accept commissions. I also do talks & teach.
My work is bold and colorful, full of power and texture. I capture strength, tranquility and emotion. I began as a toddler crawling on my dad’s drafting table to “play” with his pencils and paper. I learned from my mother’s concept of design and style. I applied my technical and artistic teachings, took a 10 year break (motherhood) and learned from local stars to make up for lost time, and I haven’t looked back since.
