It was so much fun participating in USDF Region 4 Championships! I got the chance to help soothe some soreness, induce stress reduction and enhance performance with acupuncture! It was so great to be a part of the journey for a lucky group of horses.
I recently stopped by the St. louis Area Dressage Society horse show to help get this sweet guy ready for his first horse show. He is fairly new to his barn and has a bright future. Our treatment goals were to help relax his neck, relieve stress and move the Qi through his body
Recharging the Qi at the dressage show!
I got the chance to meet Diederick at a dressage show. He was the most gentle stallion ever! He had a lot of tension in his back and some weakness in his flying changes. With the help of acupuncture and beautiful riding by Denise he gave her clean changes and qualified fir regional championships!
Thank you Erica Schwan- we have a beautiful website! Check it out! 💜🐴💕☯️

Chanel and Tristan had an acupuncture session just before the April at The Arch show in St. Louis. Congrats to both for having an amazing show weekend and qualifying for Region 4 Championships!
My favorite part of the treatment is watching the “zen” set in! Tristan always dances during placement but as soon as I step away he just melts ❤️
Region 4 USDF championships!
The power of Chinese Herbs- every year in mid to later summer this guy would get oozing itchy lesions on his face and body. He would loose hair and be uncomfortable to touch. Various treatments and topicals were tried with some success but he never had an answer or complete resolution until the season changed. After evaluation He was given a traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis of Damp heat skin- the body is unable to process and drain the humidity and heat. After 1-2 weeks on a safe but effective Chinese herbal remedy his coat was retuning to normal and we were able to prevent a full body deterioration. The herbs help cool his blood, drain the damp and strengthen the body systems to prevent further damage from the damp summer heat.
Ready…. Set…. Showtime! Tonight I spent the evening getting a few horses feeling their best before this weekend’s St. Louis Area Dressage Society Show!
Excited to be a sponsor for the St. Louis Area Dressage Society show!
Show prep in progress! After a day of competition Cam is balancing, restoring and releasing tension before rocking the next day!
Good Luck to all the competitors! I will be cheering you on this weekend! If you would like to discuss how Chinese herbs and acupuncture could benefit your horse let me know 🍀
I am excited to be a part of the St Louis Area Dressage Society’s fall show. This organization is near and dear to me as I am a long time member and past board member. It takes a village to host these special events!
Some zen bodies! Sometimes horses fall asleep, sometimes they dance and swish their tails- they can move around with the acupuncture needles in if they choose. You just have to work with what they give you- good thing there is more than one way to treat a condition 💜💕☯️
Acupuncture can be used to enchance traditional medications and therapies for numerous aliments 💜💕☯️
