Chicken will be ready at the Wilson Volunteer Fire Department. Come on down and get you a chicken half $8 or get a dinner $12. Dinners come with baked beans, baked apples and a roll.

**30th Anniversary Open House/CHICKEN BBQ**

This will be our BIG Event of the year to celebrate 30 years of providing fire protection to our Lyndhurst/Sherando community. We have lots of festivities planned for this day that include our regular chicken bbq cook.

Wilson Fire Co Apple Butter will be for sale along with our 30th Anniversary Challenge Coins & T-shirt both limited edition and once they are sold we will not have anymore made.

We will also take our normal chicken bbq preorders until Friday deadline and will be for sale at the Celebration event also until its sold out. We will also have Hamburgers,Hot Dogs,Chips and Coke soda products.

We will also have a 30th Anniversary cake and cupcakes for everyone to enjoy—Free of charge to say Thank You!!

We will be having a Truck Dedication ceremony for our Engine 191 at 2:30pm.

**Lastly as you have seen from the header we will have a special guest appearance from Tim Smith Spirits Long time Fire Chief of the Climax Vol Fire Department and Legendary Moonshiner from the Hit show Moonshiners. He will be at the fire station from 12-4 and will be available for autographs, photos and to share his story of becoming a Volunteer Fire Chief and Moonshiner. As per Tim’s request he will not sign anything derogatory or offensive. He will not have any merchandise or products for sale during his appearance with us.**

Cake walk tonight at Wilson Fire Dept. in Lyndhurst. Lots of goodies on the tables. Brunswick Stew available, by the bowl and frozen quarts to go, along with other items to eat tonight. Starts at 7pm, come join the fun!!!

Once again its time for our February cake walk and we ask as we did last month to have our great community and this time our local churches to help donate their homemade baked goods and make this another great cake walk with all of your delicious bake goods.

The response last month was absolutely amazing with everyone who brought in their homemade bake goods. We would love to have that same kind of response and more.

If you would like to donate bake goods you can drop them off the day of cake walk up until the time we start. Thank you in advance for all you do to make our cake walks successful every year.
