From Jimmy Z: One half of the Wild Samoans passed away today. I was a little kid going to wrestling with my dad and brother (my brother was the wrestling fan) a Commack Arena. Tag Team Champions Ivan "Polish Power" Putski and Tito Santana were taking on the Wild Samoans.. This was before guardrails and I followed my brother to ringside. Was determined to see Putski up close. Bro left me high and dry and I was on my own. I found an opening on the steps (I was young had no clue). Security nicely pushed me off the steps as the Wild Samoans made there way to the ring. One of the Samoans made a fist in my face and security hit his hand away. I was SHOOK and almost in tears (scared sh*tless more like it). As people threw items in the ring ... I saw the Samoans pick up pieces of hot dogs and eat them!!! I was HOOKED from that moment on.
The Samoans bloodied Putski and he was taken to the back. They worked over Tito until Ivan made a triumphant return. He cleaned house. No clue who actually won the match. But I do remember that moment at ringside, I remember my brother getting a piece of the Ivan's bloodied bandage) it was on his corkboard in his room next to the 8X10 photo, and I remember Dominic Denucci announcing the winner of the black and white television.
It was an awesome night - that changed my life for many years. All thanks to my dad and bro and the Wild Samoans. Later in life I had a relationship with Afa and let me know my mark story.
My thoughts go out to Roman Reigns and the entire Anoa'i family.

This past Saturday night, Dirty Money suffered a serious injury during his match in Alexandria, VA

Dirty $ will undergo surgery this week to repair BOTH of his quads.

A cornerstone of VCW for over two decades, Dirty Money is a friend and mentor to many throughout the professional wrestling community.

It's safe to say that professional wrestling in Virginia would not be where it is today without Dirty Money.

He's a true professional and legend who has paved the way for generations of athletes to come!

On Saturday night in Alexandria, Virginia, Logan Laroux put on hiatus his 16 year pro wrestling career. It was Standing Room Only for 35 people as the place was sold out.
Logan represented the 1% on this night against AEW's Blackpool Combat Club's Wheeler Yuta. The crowd was fully supportive of Logan (dare we say he was representing 99% this night). He came up short in a great 20 minute contest - but it was a night to remember.
AEW manager and senior advisor Sonjay Dutt came to the ring to congratulate Logan. Both guys graduated from KYDA Pro Wrestling Training School and as a result have known each other over the past 16 years.
Also on the card was KYDA Pro Training School graduate Nyla Rose and one of the originals Dirty Money $.
The booker for this spectacular was none other than KYDA Pro Training School graduate CA Elliott (former tag champ with Logan). He put together a hellava wrestling card and the packed crowd was loud and entertained for 2.5 hours.
Skiff was there to support Logan and jumped in to offer assistance with the entrance way and music. A KYDA Pro graduate that is now making his living touring as a stand up comic.
Current Morgantown Deputy Mayor and City Councilman, Mohigan Wrestling Head Wrestling Coach and school teacher Joseph Brooks rolled out to support the KYDA Pro stars and the rest of the VCW locker room.
It was nice to have Big Ben Bennett (Boat) come to a wrestling event without having to do 'everything'. He was able to come watch and not make sure the ring, music, entrance way, security, tickets and everything else he does for KYDA Pro was good.
It was a great day to be Jimmy Z and own KYDA Pro Wrestling.
