Save the date: Tuesday, November 28th @ 6pm, when you’re sick of eaing Turkey for the 5th day in a row, all winter sports athletes and their families are invited to come to the high school commons for dinner to kick off the KJSHS winter sports. Dinner will be provided and coaches will have their parent meeting following dinner.
This month’s meeting has been changed from Monday, November 13th to Thursday, November 16th, due to a scheduling conflict with National Honor Society inductions. Same time - at 7pm at the KJSHS library. See you then!
Here is your 2023 3A 6th place swim and dive team. Kemmerer could not have been represented better. We had the following individual placers:
200 Medley relay of Kaylie Julander, Tyler Thatcher, Arianne Dearden and Ella Thatcher place 12th.

It was a good effort. But the Lady Rangers fell to Big Piney after five hard fought sets
Unfortunately, the volleyball team lost in four sets to Rocky Mountain.
They will play big Piney tomor at 11:00 in a loser out game.

The Kemmerer Rangers Booster Club would like to announce the 1st Annual Lyle Beebe Memorial Skills Camp to be held July 31-August 2 from 6-8pm at the high school football field for kids entering grades 1st through 5th in the 2023-2024 school year. The camp will focus on general skills to improve strength, coordination, speed, flexibility, etc that will increase athletic ability for any sport. The registration fee is $10/student athlete. Scholarships are available to cover this cost if needed. T-shirts will be given for those who attend the camp. Registration forms were handed out at the elementary school and need to be returned with payment by May 24th to the school or can be mailed to:

These two positions are the heart and soul of the booster club so if you would like a role where you can influence and promote KR sporting programs, please come to this meeting and put your name in the hat! This week we just have an Athlete of the week and a special one at that (aren't they all though?!).
Our Kemmerer Rangers Booster Club Athlete of the week is Jake Kampman. His outstanding performance at the state basketball tournament needs to be recognized. Jake averaged 22.5 points and 15 rebounds per game in Casper. Great performance, Jake. We will miss watching you lead the Ranger basketball team next year! Once a Ranger, always a Ranger, though!
His favorite part of being a RANGER is the comradery with the team. Enjoy the memories, Jake!

With all the amazing Ranger accomplishments this last week we are proud to announce the Athlete of the Week is -Karl Haslem!
Karl finished the WHSAA State Wrestling Tournament earning 30 team points, his third individual state title, and a 2nd team championship! Wow!! That's something to be proud of!
Karl's favorite part of being a RANGER is "The support between teams." We love this, Karl! Thanks for being a part of that this weekend supporting the basketball teams at state!
Our Superfan is Victoria Lavergne! Her favorite RANGER memory – The home basketball games!! Her favorite part of being a RANGER is being a cheerleader! The cheerleaders have done a great job building spirit at the sporting events this year and we wish you the best of luck next week at state, Victoria and team!

It took four bus drivers to take the wrestlers, basketball teams, and cheerleaders to their events last week. Due to the weather, the teams, including the bus drivers, spent nearly a week in Casper and Riverton.
A big thanks to the bus drivers who make our high school and middle school activities possible.

A shout out to the Kemmerer Rangers Cheer Team.
They were fantastic in supporting the basketball teams and leading the fans in team spirit.
The cheer team has been perfecting their state routine all weekend while cheering at the basketball tournament.
They have the state cheer completion next week in Casper just before state basketball.
