Duck Notes
Our travels along the Pan American Highway.
39 weeks! Wiley’s face cracks me up 🤣
A day late, but happy New Year! We went for a long walk yesterday along the lake and Wiley had enough of his stroller and wanted to walk and hold Marvin’s leash. Wiley tired himself from walking so much he took a 3.5 hour nap, it was glorious for everyone! Happy 2024!
Happy 2nd birthday to my sweet Christmas baby!
Had a great time visiting Leavenworth last week with the Drake clan!
Love this time of year when our peonies bloom! I also love that Wiley tried eating the flower 🤣
Two hikes in one weekend?! Great way to start Spring 🌞
Arenal volcano just before the carretera austral. Epic
This last weekend was bittersweet for us as we decided to pass along our tried and true Pan American Highway rig to its new owner. This decision has been in our minds since we found out our family would be growing. The regular cab is too small for two adults, a baby, and a dog which limited our ability to use the rig together. We will always have fond memories of the truck and camper and we were happy to have seven years and many grand adventures together. Little did we know, our last outing was a 1,000 mile trip through Montana and camping in the Big Horn mountains of Wyoming, taking us back to Casper where our adventures began.
The new owner is a lineman in Kansas who will be living in the camper while he travels for work. We wish him and the truck many years of adventures together.
Thank you sweet Dodge and Alaskan Camper we will always love you. ❤️
Happy 1st birthday and Christmas to my sweet babe. You are the best Christmas present I’ve ever had! I can’t believe you are one!!

Farmer Wiley! 🥕
This was going to be our Christmas card this year, but it is too funny not to share now! The whole family
First time using this baby backpack! Wiley loved it! But, I get it now when parents joke about shrinking their kids and not wanting them to grow up. I get it. Wiley is only 7 months and I’m so happy that he can fit in this carrier and hold his head up and interact, but at the same time I’m not. I want him to stay little forever. He’ll always be my baby and I know we will look fondly at his baby pictures when he is grown. ❤️
