THE STRUGGLE TO FIND JEANS PART TWO!!!
Sooooo I saw a TikTok from a store called MsOverdo Clothing located right in San Juan, a few buildings away from Tru Valu. Since I left the house today I figured I could detour on my way home. I GOT A PAIR!! Price tag $325. The last pair of plus size wide leg mind you. But I got it 😅. As per usual, it's too long but I'll get it hemmed. I'll probably get one or two more when I check out some other stores in the near future, but for now, it looks like we're off to a good start.

NOIR CARIBÉ: Bold Caribbean Woman, Collection Launch by Loud by Afiya Bishop. As a plus size woman, shopping local off the rack is very limited, so when I do find local brands that cater to me in the same way that they cater to smaller bodies, I support them wholeheartedly.

If you’re new here, back in the day ya girl did some runway modeling (yes even with my 5’2 frame lol). So it felt good to be part of a fashion show again. I had a blast and the other models were such a cool group of ladies.

Thank you Afiya for allowing ya girl to strut her stuff. Now to decide which outfits I want to get from the collection (even after I put myself on a shopping ban).

THE STRUGGLE TO FIND JEANS!!!
Listen, I am usually not one who encounters difficulty finding clothing locally as a plus size woman (though I understand all too well that others do). But when I tell allyuh, the struggle to find a pair of plus size wide leg jeans is REAL. I can get everything else denim wise without fuss, but some straight or wide leg jeans? Pressure!! Send help!
ETA: No online suggestions, I need to go in store and try on.

Not me doing the ONE THING I said I’d never do for Christmas, but here we are, matching pajamas and what not. Blame my sisters in law. A merry, happy and holy Christmas to each and every one of you.
