Yesterday was filled with so many great moments, and this pic of me receiving a compliment from the great Mavis Staples is merely one. I had the pleasure of being in the house band for benefit show. There I am, playing with some amazing musicians in the band (some of whom I consider to be legends in their own right), backing up legends, and potentially inspiring future legends… This music thing is amazing. 📸:

Music production is typically not a one man show. There are musicians, arrangers, background singers and engineers who deserve their credit. How is the only platform designed to show all credits (when the labels/artists actually submit the metadata) is beyond me. now shows writer and producer credits but they can do better. Credits matter. S/o to for the post.
