Beijing 10 Step is also named as 8 posture fixed step Tai Ji (Chi) Quan routine, which is a compact routine created based on Yang style Tai Chi.
Ba Fa Wu Bu means 8 methods and 5 steps (or often described as 8 diagrams and 5 elements), which covers the 8 different techniques and 5 stepping methods that are being used widely in Tai Chi.
Through practising these routines, learners can get a deeper understanding of the energy being used and body methods that make our practice more effective and efficient. It is also a routine that requires minimal space, we can practice in a small room or an office area.
