A student platform unifying active students in youth groups and student associations working on initiatives from different campuses and universities across the globe with the clear aims of raising the voice of Palestinian students wherever they may be and reintegrating the primary role students play in combating and confronting Zionist oppression through unified collective work
The Voice of Palestinian Students sheds light on the cultural, social and political activities organized by students in order to emphasize and nurture the bonds of national unity among Palestinian students in the world, as well as revive the soul of student movements worldwide. Accordingly, VPS sees such initiatives as a crucial part of the national liberation movement and the collective struggle to end Zionist colonization, in hopes for a liberated Palestine: from the river, to the sea
The Voice of Palestinian Students is an open space for all Palestinian students from different universities in all parts of the world to share their activities and initiatives that encompass issues of national and social liberation and express their own struggles as students
Your opinion and suggestions to empower this space are highly welcome, and we look forward to your constant communication with us

The first article of Itijah newspaper, by Ahmad Mofeed, provides a new critical look and insightful analysis of the Balfour Declaration, not only by highlighting its tragic repercussions on the Palestinian people, but interestingly enough by highlighting how the 'Balfour Declaration' is still present in Today's political reality. From another angle, the author examines the obsession of 'state- recognition' as a political strategy to counter the de- facto reality, in a way to shed the light into the increasing gap between a recognized- state and a de- facto state. In this respect, the author questions the necessity and credibility of a possible 'apology' or 'recognition' of a state.
The debate if it is a façade-recognition of a state or a recognition of a façade- state is a façade debate. The de-facto situation in the ground leaves no space for such debate. The author concludes that a façade apology or recognition is not an effective mechanism and will not bring any change nor it will compensate history. In other words, what would be the meaning of a historical apology from the UK while the Israeli colonial crimes against Palestinian people is happening everyday? What is the value of a requested apology if the British government does not regret its responsibility?
'Ironically though, just as the apology - if made by Britain - will not change the past; recognizing the Palestinian State will not change the present, and will keep the Palestinian “State” distorted and far from our perception of Palestine"

The first picture shows an only- settler road located in the Jaba' village in the way to the south from Ramallah. This picture reflects the Israeli colonial structure in Occupied Palestine. This road sign is not as clear as the ones built by the Apartheid regime in South Africa "White only" (as in the second picture). The words are different but in practice its the same sign, it only gives permission of entry to settlers in order to avoid traffic jam by providing an alternative side root. The road sign says:
"Through Emergency, Only Authorized Entry" The authorization here is the colonial privilege for the Israeli occupiers.
Over 30,000 sick Yemenis seeking medical treatment abroad lost their lives because of the ongoing closure of Sanaa Airport, and double that number are threatened by death within months.
Ten million Yemenis have been deprived of their basic human right to travel abroad since August 9, 2016, when the Saudi-led coalition decided to unjustly
close Sanaa International Airport.
A great humanitarian tragedy was created, especially when Yemenis depend on traveling abroad in order to get medical treatment.
Statistics of the Yemeni Ministry of Health as well as reports from International humanitarian organizations indicate that there are about 200,000 patients with incurable diseases in an urgent need to travel abroad and they are waiting for unknown fate in case the Airport is not open. Also, 878,570 Patients suffer from lack of many medicines for chronic diseases. Medical solutions and supplies, are transported by air.
Educational wise, thousands of Yemeni students on scholarships are unable to travel to join their educational Institutions outside Yemen.
The list goes on, thousands of Yemenis are stranded abroad in many countries, all seeking to return to Sanaa safely. Many of them are suffering from terrible conditions.
Open Sana’a International Airport to save lives of children dying on a daily basis. The siege has entered 27th month, and it must end immediately.
