“From Rhodesia to the valleys of South Africa’s KZN, let us take you on a Global journey with one of the fore-fathers of the African Nation Congress –Chief Nkosi Albert Luthuli. Let us build a lifelong legacy that echoes from the mountain caves of the African continent to the foreign lands and the rest of the world. Nkosi Albert Luthuli was born a leader. He was President-General of the African Na
tional Congress in 1952 till 1967. He was also the first African to receive a Nobel Peace Prize in 1960. Luthuli was a teacher, political activist and a priest. Mr Luthuli is being celebrated around the world, especially the U.S and Britain. His selfless struggles and his work still echoes in the hearts of many and foreign lands. But not much is being said about him in his home land, South Africa. Now, as NALAF (Nkosi Albert Luthuli African Foundation), our key element is to educate and inform people about the significance of this great icon. Not only did he fight for human rights, equal opportunity and the liberation of our people, he also lived a selfless and spiritual life. As the Nkosi Albert Luthuli African Foundation we’d like to celebrate and remember the life and times of the man. We are portraying him through a theatrical play, dance, music and other activities that interest our people. We want to educate people from all spectrums (especially the youth) about the legacy he’s left with us”
Welcome to the journey and let us celebrate the humble and great man that he is.
