Napoleon Bunnyparte
For every toy purchased, one toy is donated. Come binky with us. All toys are handmade and sourced in North America by humans who love small animals.
Every month, we feature a rabbit rescue nominated by you! There are few things better than seeing a bunny play with a toy that was handcrafted by us—especially when it is a rescue bunny! We are committed to giving back to rabbits everywhere, and hope to make the biggest impact by sending a box of goodies to your favorite rescue each month!
We retired Chloé last year from her pet therapy visits, and it's bittersweet to look back on her nine year long career.
Just wait though. Edward has something to show you...
Keychain & Lanyard or Shaker Keychain?
Chloé has made her choice.
✨HELLO, EDWARD.✨
We all know bunnies do well in pairs (or threes! or fours!) and it was time that Charles found a friend. Knowing Charlie is easily startled, we wanted to find a friend who was a bit more mellow and easy going.
A few weeks ago, we visited Bunanza Rabbit Rescue Ranch and Adoption Center with Charles for speed dating. Edward was the second bunny we tried him with- he flopped and tooth purred beside Charlie after only 5 minutes! Edward is a purebred rex- a breeder dropped him off at the rescue as he was the runt. To reword that bluntly: the breeder’s “merchandise” was faulty, so someone else can take care of it. ALWAYS adopt from a rescue!
Charlie and Edward are doing great. We’ve been taking it slow just because Charlie is so easily frightened (he gets scared if we put on our sweaters too fast) There has been grooming, there has been snuggling. We are so optimistic about this blossoming love, and thank Bunanza Rabbit Rescue for their help with finding such a handsome dude!
Hoppy Lunar New Year! 🧧✨
Celebrate all year long with new enamel pins created by our in house Chinese artist.
Guess Charlie has picked his favorite holiday print! 🤷
Did you know!?
Darker bunnies are often overlooked for adoption. Ridiculous, right?
🖤Black Bunny Friday Drawstring Backpacks🖤 Support rescues and remember darker bunnies if you have the chance to adopt!
Today is Napoleon’s Birthday, and it is with the heaviest of broken hearts that we share that we have an appointment today for Sophie’s home euthanasia.
We sign a contract with our pets to give them 100% each day. This last thing is the hardest but best thing we can do now, and is when Sophie need us the most. Sophie has had one of more severe cases of tilt that we’ve come across, and she has constantly fought and recovered. She fought against the mass growing against her heart and lungs a few weeks ago and had a few really great, good days.
Over the years, we’ve had messages from people asking why we don’t just put her down since she has been struggling with tilt for so long. It came down to the two things she most enjoyed: food and cuddles. If she was still able to find joy in these two things, we would be there for anything she needed in between. Even at her most unstable, she was always rudely snatching veggies and purring at pats.
Sophie has taught us the importance of being present. Taking time in each day to memorize the cheek shape, arm wing, dewlap fluff. Finding joy through the most difficult of circumstances.
It has been an absolute privilege to have supported you on your journey, Sophie. I would have done anything to help you keep going if you wanted to. I cannot describe the feeling I had watching you accomplish things I thought your tilt would have limited you with. I will miss your sassy headbutts and frantic head waves to get at your vegetables, but I will take solace in knowing that we were the best of friends, and we were able to share your story with so many. You will be with us always.
We will be at the Pipe Shop in North Vancouver this weekend! 🥳🐇
Please wake for snacks only! 💤
Chloé turns 10 this year, and while she still enjoys her therapy visits, we’ve decided to retire her as a therapy bunny.
After 9 years of visiting students before exams, elders in assistant living, kids in cancer wards, physical therapy, and hospice, she will be spending all her afternoons cuddling with Sophie.
We are so proud of her and all her work.
We're celebrating Sophie's 11/12th birthday today!
Sophie was found out in a field with two other dumped bunnies. We don't know exactly how old she was.
Since her head tilt in 2018, Sophie has recovered, had a second tilt in fall of 2020, and recovered even better than the first time! We are so proud of her and hope to raise awareness for special needs bunnies!
Head tilt bunnies may always have a bit of a tilt, but they can live long and happy lives!
HBD, Sophie!

🖤Hoppy Black Bunny Friday🖤
A year ago today, Charlie was introduced to our FB family. Charlie was found on a construction site during a week of 85ºF/30ºC+ temperatures. This is one of the first photos we have of him during his “quarantine” after he was rescued. Rabbits like Charlie are not native to the area and are a result of someone dumping unwanted domesticated rabbits to be “free”.
Every Black Friday, we hope to raise awareness for bunnies who are often overlooked at adoptions. Darker colored bunnies, ruby eyed white bunnies, and special needs bunnies have just as much to offer!
This year’s Black Bunny Print Ts, totes, and pouches will benefit Bandaids for Bunnies, a rescue who works to help abandoned rabbits like Charlie. Hop to it! This print is only around until Tuesday, November 30!
✨JUST IN✨ Calendars supporting The Small Animal Rescue Society of BC and Holiday Card packs supporting Bandaids for Bunnies. Get them before Chloé starts nibbling on them!
A feast for two! 🥕 (Three if you count Percy, the questionably designed pig 🐷)
If you sleep through Monday will it will be like it never happened?Asking for a friend. 🤔
Charlie’s first (indoor) dandelion! 🌱We found Charlie on a construction site in the middle of a 85°F week. His first poops were like dust! This is back from the first 24h he was with us. He warmed up to us pretty quickly when there was food involved. We can still get him to do pretty much anything for the promise of something to eat!❤️
Our Story
Every rabbit is special and different. So many different bunny personalities are kept in mind when each unique and interesting toy is created. We aim to raise awareness about domestic rabbits and emphasize their need for attention and stimulation.
There is nothing better than seeing a little fuzzy with one of our toys... except maybe seeing a rescue fuzzy with one of our toys. For every toy purchased, one is donated to a rescue in need.
From the bottom of our furry hearts, thank you for taking an interest in our store.
