A few snaps from today's Aerial yoga. Thanks
Another๐ชaerial pilates class at where we planked, floated and challenged our relationship to gravity.
What Iโll miss the mostโฆ moments like these.
As an aerial yoga teacher, I have witnessed countless moments where my students achieved things that they never thought were possible. These moments are what make each session unique and special.
The beauty of aerial yoga is that it challenges your mind and body in ways that traditional yoga cannot. By using a silk hammock as a prop, you can explore new poses and movements that may have seemed impossible before. This sense of exploration and discovery creates a sense of excitement and wonder that is hard to replicate in any other form of exercise.
I encourage my students to push their boundaries and try new things. Sometimes, this means attempting a challenging inversion or holding a pose for longer than they thought they could. Other times, it may mean finding a deeper connection with their breath or simply enjoying the sensation of weightlessness as they swing gently in the hammock.
When a student achieves something they didn't think was possible, the look of joy and accomplishment on their face is truly magical. It's a moment that they will carry with them long after they leave the studio. And as a teacher, it's a moment that fills me with pride and gratitude.
Looking for a fun way to celebrate your friends, family or colleagues this holiday season?

Every day you have the opportunity to change the pathway of your life.
Fear can either hold you back or propel you forward.
Will today be the day you smile and say hello fear, letโs walk together?
If it doesnโt challenge you, it doesnโt change you.
Congratulations .0804 ๐คฉ๐
These two photos are about a year apart.
What the photos donโt show is all the time and effort you put in. The trust and confidence you built by getting outside your comfort zone.
Be proud of yourself and all the progress youโve made. Especially the progress that no one else can see.
Keep going ๐
What if you judged yourself less and paid more attention to how you feel rather than how things look?
What if you didnโt take movement so seriously and instead looked at your yoga practice as a way to play, explore and notice how you react when things donโt go as planned?
What if you saw your yoga mat like a playground where you could move with curiosity and build more confidence and trust in your body?
What if? ๐ค
Change happens incrementally.
We live in a world where we expect instant gratification.
But changing who we are physically and mentally takes time.
It means that we need to commit to showing up and putting in the work every day.
Small steps over time equals big results.
Is there something youโve been wanting to change that you keep putting off?
We all need coaches, teachers, mentors or just people that believe in us when we donโt believe in ourselves.
Thanks for sharing your journey so honestly
โIt got me thinking how hard it is to take a leap, to try something on our own, to lose the thing that we are convinved we need to help us get where we're going.ย
It also highlighed how important it is sometimes to have a person there who can see the bigger picture, who can sense that maybe you're ready even when you're not sure yet, someone to help challenge and stretch you in a safe way.โ

Episode 5
You can be more confident than you are right now.
Like any muscle ๐ช confidence takes time to build.
The first step is to do one thing that scares you.
Itโs ok if youโre nervous, scared or uncomfortable.
These are all feelings that will pass.
You can get comfortable being uncomfortable.
By doing this youโll collect evidence that you strong and you are capable, and youโll feel your confidence grow.
You have so much to share with the world, donโt let your lack of confidence hold you back.
๐คฉ Whatโs one thing you can do today?

I first met Katy through an and after a few group sessions Katy decided that she wanted to do private sessions.
Her goal was to develop her confidence and work on her handstand, grip strength and splits.
Itโs not just about doing a pose for the sake of doing it, we have conversations about different ways to do poses.
Each personโs body is different and there is no โone size fits allโ.
If youโre looking to explore movement in a different way, build confidence in your body and have some fun then Iโd love to chat to you.
Iโve got a special offer for the first 5 people who get in touch ๐๐
Celebrating all the amazing women who sometimes forget how strong they are.
Thank you for inspiring me.
Thank you for supporting each other.
Thank you for trusting yourself.
Letโs continue to lift each other up.
Happy International Womenโs Day!

***Probably the most asked question in aerial.***
You know the best way to experience aerial yoga is surrounded by your friends or loved ones.
Theyโre there to laugh with you, encourage you, make sounds with you and share an experience youโll never forget.

๐ฅณ Tag a friend you want to hang out with
6 years ago I flew to Melbourne to do my Aerial Teacher Training.
After a year of doing silks and my life being flipped upside down, I knew that I had to share this.
Iโd never taught anything before and I didnโt know anything about anatomy.
It was all new, it was all overwhelming.
But I knew I needed to learn it so I could share aerial movement.
I signed up for as many modules as I could and fully immersed myself in the experience.
I remember the first time I taught (as part of the training) in front of 18 new and experienced teachers.
As a shy, introvert who wasnโt used to hearing her own voice this was a huge step.
And Iโm so glad I took it.
Iโm grateful that my teacher was Renae and she has gone on to be both a mentor and friend. I had many private sessions with her after the initial group training so that I could refine my teaching and hopefully one day be as good as she is.
These last 6 years have been so enriching and fulfilling. Iโm beyond thankful that I get to share this movement and meet all of you wonderful people along the way.
Your stories, challenges and successes inspire me to continue to share all that I can.
Thank you for being part of this journey ๐.
Hereโs to many more magical moments, breakthroughs, laughs, sound effects, swings, inversions, flips and getting physically and mentally stronger together. ๐๐ช๐คฉ
โI thoughtโฆif I can do this, I can do anything.โ Min
Today I hung out with Min and she told me about the growth sheโs experienced in her life because of doing aerial. At 56 years young, sheโs taught herself how to swim because she realizes that she can achieve anything.
Iโm sure youโll agree that her positive attitude is infectious. She makes me believe that anything is possible!
Iโm so grateful Iโve been able to hang out with her over the past few months and I hope this video inspires you as much as she inspires me.
She reminded me that โbeing scared is in your headโฆitโs not realโ
How does movement help you to process your emotions?
Last year, Fiona and I discussed movement, emotions and a lot of other fun stuff.
This is a short clip from our chat.
Do you use movement to shift your emotions?
Too scared?
Too uncoordinated?
Not strong enough?
These are all things that are holding you back from trying out new things in your life.
The first step to make a change is to take the first step.
One step at a time.
Thanks for sharing this .trinette
Itโs wonderful to be able to reflect on your growth and journey.
Practice discomfort.
That was where my journey began.
My aim was to challenge my beliefs about myself and what I thought was possible.
I created this video last year for my members but I feel like cold therapy is popping up a lot lately.
But before you plunge yourself into a ice cold bath, give this a try.
Start slow and build it up.
Let me know how it goes ๐ฅถ

What you practice grows stronger...
Right now... are you reading or are you practicing reading?
Every day my intention is to become a better version of myself.

Instead of breathing, you can practice breathing.
Instead of moving, you can practice moving.
If you add the word 'practice' infront of the things you do daily, would that change the way you show up?
โYour body cannot heal without play. Your mind cannot heal without laughter. Your soul cannot heal without joy.โ โ Catherine Rippenger Fenwick
Iโm sure youโd agree that we could all use a bit of healing after the last couple of crazy years.
As restrictions ease in NSW, Iโm looking forward to celebrating you and your loved ones in the hammock.
