Good morning Pre-Dent Bearkats! This Wednesday we will be having a special meeting with guest speaker Dr. Barbara Miller from TAMU School of Dentistry. We hope to see you there!! 🦷⭐️

We went over to Head Start in Huntsville for National Children’s Dental Health Month. We got a chance to educate the children on how to properly brush their teeth, and had so much fun interacting with the kids! The kids also received some cool dental kits provided by Colgate! 🪥🦷📚

Happy Tuesday Pre-Dental Bearkats!⭐️🦷 Tomorrow is our second general meeting and we would love to see you there! Our 2nd meeting of the Spring 2023 semester will take place tomorrow, February 15th, at 6:30 pm in Life Sciences Building Room 130. We will be creating and designing the presentation and related activities for our Head Start Presentation taking place on February 24th, from 9-11 AM. More information to come! 🦷⭐️🪥

Happy October pre-dents🦷 We are very excited to announce that we will be attending a joint meeting with SHSU SHAMOS this Thursday Oct. 6th in the Lee Drain building room 212. This weeks meeting we are so lucky to have Assistant Dean Dr. Cooley and D2 student in person to give a presentation and Q&A on their school. We hope to see everyone there on Thursday!

Hello pre-dents! With summer officially kicking off today, we just want to remind all of our members to have a safe and fun filled time off! The summer is a great time to really build up your application for dental school by volunteering, shadowing, and prepping for the DAT. Today also marks the beginning of summer 1 classes for those that may have them. For those of you that have been, I ask that you reminisce on the day we took the tour and how good it felt to be at the school. Use that feeling to motivate you to keep pushing towards your goals!🦷🌟

This past weekend some of our pre-dents volunteered at the Houston TMOM event🦷 While providing free dental care to under served citizens, they even got to reach out to member of Texas A&M and A&M CC pre-dental society members! We encourage anyone thinking about participating in the next one to sign up as it is an amazing experience to give back to the community as well a great opportunity to make connections in the dental field!

Happy spring break pre-dents! We hope everyone has been enjoying some much needed time off from school. Tonight Dr. Cooley DDS of UTHSD will be covering some information about the school as well as how to be a great applicant🦷 The link to the meeting will be posted on all platforms later today and we hope to see everyone there!

Hello pre-dents! TTUHSCEP is putting together an awesome application workshop next week! This information will be helpful for anyone regardless of their stage in the journey to dental school🦷 Also a friendly reminder that we will not be hosting a meeting this week in regards to midterms this week and our upcoming Webex meeting with Dr. Cooley of UTHSD! Goodluck to everyone on their upcoming tests and we will follow up with more information regarding the Webex!

If you plan on running for an officer position, bring your speech and dress for success to show why you deserve to be an officer in the future! TAMUCOD will be hosting an amazing event in April! We urge all prospective dental students to take advantage of this opportunity as you get a chance to not only learn so much about the school and your application process, but also to network with students and faculty from the school that just may help you in the future! 🦷

Greetings pre-dents! As we are reaching the end of the semester, we have scheduled our last meeting at sipsy’s coffee house here in town. Hope to see everyone there to relax in prep for finals coming up soon!

Hello Pre-Dents! Before we enjoy ourselves on Halloween this Sunday we have put together a canned food pickup/ donation. Anyone is free to donate as well as participate in our event where we will be trick-or-treating for canned good in our local community! All donations will be presented to CARE which is an organization that helps feed underserved people. We hope to see many of you participate in this small act of kindness to better our community and those in need. Thank you and have a happy Halloween!

We want to send a special thanks to our Pre-Dental alumni Joseph Green for meeting with us during his first semester at UTHSD. Joseph held a Q&A session for all our members answering questions and sharing his wisdom on how we can all follow in his footsteps to accomplish our goals in life! Thanks Joseph!🦷

With a productive morning spent bettering our community, our members voted to give up a portion of their Saturday to keep Huntsville looking awesome by picking up trash in parking lots and along roads! Thank you to all who came in a small yet impactful event to better our home!
