At Take a Walk New York, we are passionate about New York City and find it an endless source of fascination and excitement. We love uncovering layers of history hidden in plain sight and learning about villains, heroes, and everyday folk who have made this city great. We became licensed NYC sightseeing guides because we enjoy sharing the city’s stories with other people, both New Yorkers who have
lived here most of their lives and visitors new to the city. We are thrilled when a native New Yorker tells us: “I’ve walked by here dozens of times, and I never noticed that. Thanks for opening my eyes.”
Our tours are designed to be entertaining, educational, and interactive. We offer two types of tours, scheduled tours and custom tours. We believe that the best way to experience the history, neighborhoods, parks, and art of the city is by walking through its streets.
