“Horror”

I suffer from a chronic anxiety disorder that causes me to have frequent panic attacks, that when clustered lead to depressive episodes. Some of my panic attacks are the classic crying and hyperventilating ones, but most of them are quiet, dissociative, and long-lasting. I’m no stranger to sitting with my head in my hands, completely oblivious to the world around me as my brain tries to wind itself back to reality.
